World's best potato salad! Food/service is great just getting a little pricey.

I worked there and ate there wonderful people and very clean. Good food good staff. They address their customers by their first name. Definitely the best deli in town if you don't stop by you're going to regret it.
I visited this Jams location which is right at the intersection W. Friendly Ave and Guilford College Rd. This was the first location opened which opened in 1988 and has been quite the landmark in that area. The sandwiches are just absolutely amazing. High quality ingredients used in the sandwiches sers is apart from the competition. Their signature curly fries complement the sandwiches pretty well. The packaging of the product is very impressive.Jams Deli has a very retro ambience and takes you back in time. This location is super clean and being right opposite Guilford College attracts a lot of the younger college going crowd. Parking is very limited however there is additional parking at the surrounding businesses. It is located in the Quaker Village shopping area where the new neighborhood Walmart hqas opened. You walk up to the counter to place your order and seat yourself. Your order gets called out and once finished, you need to dispose off the trash for the next guest. So pretty much self service. It is one of the best sandwiches I've had in a while and would be bringing family and friends over for sure.
Perfect chicken sandwich
When I reflect on 15+ years of eating at this place, I am not able to recall a single bad experience. While the parking is a little bit awkward, I like everything else about this place. It’s always clean, there is plenty of seating, the food tastes great and in most cases, has been prepared fairly quickly. The staff have always been really nice and the location draws a broad group of customers, who are always interesting to talk with. I also love the fact that they have never changed the decor, which offers the feel of a 1950’s drug store fountain, or offering a lot more comfort in space.
Such a solid shop for a good sandwich. Great staff, quick service and really good flavors. Crisp curly fries (always enough to share!) Consistent, across the board with plenty of options to make everyone happy.
Jams deli was really good. I got the meatball sub and my friend got the BLT and potato salad. Didn't have much tomatoe on it though but the potato salad was delicious. My sub was melting with cheese on it and crispy how I like my subs..cheesecake was really good too
The food was decent but the cashier ruined the whole experience. He was very rude but the guy who actually cooked and gave me my order was very nice. The cashier was so rude when taking our order that my family will not be returning here.
Delicious, quick, and very reasonably priced. This place has been amazing for years!
