My experience was horrible! I pulled up to place my order and waited at the window for over 10 minutes. While I waited servers passed the window and never stopped to take my order. I beeped my horn each time they came close to the window to make drinks for “other” customers (4 times) and both women ignored me. After 15 minutes of waiting at the window, I placed my order online and drove around to park. When I got inside the server mentions they are short staffed. That reason does not excuse them ignoring me for 15 minutes and not even stepping to the window to say those words. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Great service with hustling crew! We were seated within ten mins during peak breakfast on Saturday morning. Good biscuits, country ham. Mickey Mouse pancakes for the kids!
I’ve eaten at Jake’s Diner two to three times a week for about three or four months to date… the food would be a lot better if the cook staff was consistent with preparing the food… the wait staff … Victoria, Anna and Jesse are knowledgeable of the product on the menu and take’s care of the customers and speedy in serving the meal to your table… the other wait staff and manager should take notes ? from these three … keep up the great work!!!
This place is one of the slowest, overpriced restaurant in Greensboro. Coffee is $2.75 a CUP. The waiter never came back to ask me if I wanted more. They got their money out of that one! Slow service, $10.95 for bacon, eggs, grits, and coffee. Stay away from here!

their side salad was great...love the veggies I have gotten. Got their steak and gravy..they floured the meat, and I prefer it not 2 b floured. Most wait staff was great. had one who never gave me silverware and when I asked another staff for some. she told my waitress who only walked around and left a fork on the table for me. As she goes by and lays it on the table, I tried getting her attn to no avail...I needed a knife to cut my salad...so asked another girl cleaning
I ordered takeout from Jake's, their food is good in the diner so I didn't feel that I would have any issues regarding delivery but I was wrong. I expected a 6 oz steak to be cooked to perfection, chopped up and put between two pieces of bread but I got a tasteless hamburger. It was a patty! The name suggests that it would be at least chopped up but no, I paid nearly $13 for a mess.
Did not get what we ordered and what we did get was not cooked as asked. Food was not good. We will not return.
Enjoyed breakfast based on review and it didn't disappoint. Had the Philly Cheesesteak Omelet is it just packed with all the cheesesteak goodness wrapped in eggs. Highly recommend. My son had the eggs, bacon platter and it was good to. Wait staff was efficient and bathrooms clean.
