Going to a restaurant with my son is difficult because he is a very picky eater, however, IHOP is his favorite place for Mac & cheese and pancakes. After a fun filled weekend with family, we decided to end our fellowship at IHOP. From the minute we walked in, we were greeted by the hostess who advised us of a long wait due to reduced staffing. Understanding it was an observed holiday, we appreciated the advance noticed and decided to wait. We actually did not wait long to be seated because the hostess was accommodating to our party size and we were immediately greeted by our server, Ms.Christina. She was very friendly and attentive, and we had a pleasant experience and good food. Needless to say my son had two bowls of Mac & cheese. Before we left, one of the cooks came by our table to ask how were the food and service which totally surprised me that they cared so much to check in on us. Overall we enjoyed the food and service, and appreciate all the hard work and dedication by the staff to present a great customer service experience.
I want to give it a higher rating. I do. The food was fine. The waitress was very nice. I barely saw her though because she was clearly overworked with multiple large tables of people. The place looked like it needed a thorough cleaning, but every staff member I saw was operating at a running pace to keep up with what they were doing.Let's just say my concern was not with the food or the staff.
The best dine-in experience I've had in a IHOP in two states since a year before the pandemic. Food was cooked to order and delicious, the service was excellent, and not too long of a wait considering the Help Wanted sign outside. I would have given a 5 if the side of avacodo was ripe.
The Saturday morning crew on 3/5/22 were amazing. They are obviously understaffed but they remained professional, courteous, and understanding with the customers complaints. Yes there are long wait times, however, there is little the hostess or wait staff can do about it.Food was delicious, coffee was abundant, atmosphere was comfortable, my table was clean.Have some patience with them or stay home and cook for yourself.
Very friendly staff. Down to earth workers made The experience very pleasurable. The food was top-notch as well as the toppings that came with it were outstanding the chocolate chip pancakes or something always to look forward to when coming here
Short staffed, pancakes under cooked, but Lady was working to try and take care of everyone. Not sure how you mess up pancakes but they did, pale doughy. Do to short or untrained staff the wait to be seated then wait for 1 person to take orders and try to make / supervise them being made. While there 2 of staff kept popping out leaving building coming back?Do Not Recomend.
Understaffed, long wait, manager explained that there was a lot of to go orders but I thought people who come in should be top priority. Food was good when we did get it. Staff was clearly being overworked. Hope the tip we left was a blessing.
We wanted a quick delicious lunch and IHOP delivered. I got the monster burger with fries. Mom got the senior pancakes. Not a single complaint. Quick delicious friendly service. As it should be.
Food was tasty, however the staffing was horribly mismanaged, causing extreme delays in food preparation for dine-in patrons, and for the carry-out & delivery customers as well, causing some customers becoming very irate and threatening. Which allowed the dine-in patrons to feel that they were in a potentially a VERY harmful environment. Only 2 cooks in the kitchen, while 8 others (not including management) were standing around doing nothing, in plain sight of all customers.
I just went there today for dine-in. We were told 30 minutes to wait, 1 hour later we were seated. 1hr. to 1 hr and 30-minutes later we got our food. So a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes for food and the order was wrong! The waiter got the order wrong on top of it and then laughed about not having ice cream for the frozen hot chocolate milk shakes! I would also like to note that their were only a hand full of people as customers seated. To top it off we heard her actually admit to knowing people would have an hour wait to be seated alone, as it had been that way all day. She flat out had been liing to people for a good hour. When everyone realized she had knowing lied, they left, as we were being seated. Also, told us they had multiple waitresses there today. Then when seated we find out it is also a lie. I have no tolerance for people who out right lie to me and laugh. They had to give a lady with diabetes orange juice because she was getting sick waiting for her food. She had probably been waiting hours as well. You shouldn't leave customers waiting so long that their blood sugar drops low enough to make them sick. I am done with IHOP!
