The management was ABSOLUTELY horrible! The hostess was truly trying to accommodate us but I’ve never in my life seen a manager turn away a group that could of easily been accommodated. Colorism is truly a thing in the south.

Honestly, one of the best burgers I have ever eaten! My friends and I had a great time and a GREAT burger. The server was on point! She was engaging and very kind. The meat is so tasty and of good quality, and a fair portion. Our burgers were served as ordered and were cooked perfectly! I will most definitely be coming back for this amazing burger.
Ordered the Hops Classic burger with fries. And a cold beer. Place was very busy but we were seated after a short wait. Took a little time to get the food but the beer was delivered very fast and it was cold like I like it. The burger was very good ?. Get place and I would recommend to give it a try.
It was a little busy on a Sunday evening but the restaurant seemed to be running like a well oiled machine with people who seem to enjoy working together. The host was doing what I'm assuming might have been his side work but was always quick to greet people as soon as they came in. Servers were helping each other prebus tables and making sure none of the guests needed for anything. The food was great as well.

Hops Burger Bar was.... ? My best friend and I were fuhhh-lored by the Nutty Patty housemade burg on a pretzel bun because, as one already knows, the pretzel bun is always worth the +$1. Caramelized onions, lettuce, and tomato adorned this delicious lunch and the garlic rosemary fries??? Get outta town. If you go to Hops, ya gotta get the fries. Enjoyed my fave by Victory called Sour Monkey and a fiiiire strawberry Tito's lemonade. I can easily say the first patio meal of the year has set the bar HIGH. I'm not from the area, I'm up in NE Ohio but trust and believe I will be back to Hops next time I'm in Greensboro!
We were visiting Greensboro on a car buying trip. We checked out TA for dining options. #1 on the list was this place. It was a burger bar so we were excited to give it a try. We are so happy we did. We drove up to a packed small parking lot. We found one slot to park and counted ourselves lucky. There was a line of a few people waiting for tables when we arrived around 1PM on a Saturday. Fortunately for us there were two seats open at the bar and we took them. There was a cool energy to this place. Great service. We chatted with a regular who comes daily to the bar. We talked with our busy bar staff and watched them as the busily went about practicing their mixology. The food was "awesome...". WE ordered the burgers. WE ordered the Classic and the Spicy Goat. You can select the bun. We had a pretzel bun and Brioche bun. These were great burgers from top to bottom. Atmosphere was not fantastic but had a great vibe to it (espeically seated at the bar watching the action and conversation). Our Ratings for this place: Renown 4.5 stars (#1 on TA) Romantic Appeal 4 stars Service 5 stars Food 5 stars Value 5 stars Atmosphere 4.5 stars Averages to 4.67 stars which we happily submit a 5 star review. We would come back here in a heart beat. If we lived closer this would be a regular stop for us. Friendly staff and customers, great burgers and drinks definitely give this place a try if you are in Greensboro.
