Was in the mood for Hibachi food, and in the Friendly area, so we decided to try Hibachi Fusion! Definitely a mistake, we ordered Teriyaki to eat in. Restaurant was really small and not a lot of seating for customers. When food came out, we were confused because it was served on dixie plates?? Not sure why, but potion was extremely small...almost a palm full of chicken, broccoli and rice? But paying $23 for what we order felt like a waste, we both felt the rice tasted gummy, and that the broccoli was super saturated in soy sauce, which made it very salty...chicken (11 pieces, very small and chopped up, was tough. The ice water may have been the best thing there...
I have ordered takeout from the Hibachi Fusionmany time in the past and the food has alwaysbeen pretty good. Tonight’s order was a complete reversal. I ordered the Hibachi Steakand the steak was not tender, very grossly and had the appearance that it had been cooked or warmed up more than once. By the time I got home with the order, it was not worth the time and effort to return to the restaurant. I’ll just try another restaurant for my next takeout.
Garbage: The rice,"chicken"?, and vegetables looked days old. Looked as if the food had been taken from a dumpster. I was to disgusted to take it back, so I droped it in the first trash can I could find. Will never teturn to this garbage bin. Pete Weatherall
The vegetables literally had no flavor. The meat was terrible and they give you a small plate. Don’t bother wasting your money here.
So after sitting outside for a football game we decided to stop here for a light meal before dinner later. I asked who I'm sure are one of the owners for ICE water(HELLO trying to rehydrate) from the fountain machine and after paying for our order she handed me my cups and then followed behind when I was getting the ice and turns off the machine as if she assumed I was going to steal something other than what I asked for! That was one of the rudest things I've seen lately in a restaurant and also racist. Never will I ever bring my business back and if you are planning to try there food if you don't spend over $30 and purchase a soda fountain drink be prepared for misjudgment. You should be ashamed of yourselves! **Of course I took my business elsewhere and told her to give me my money back and that she was rude for that and racist..she replied..OK!?
Ordered off of doordash it was pretty good and came just in time. It was not cold despite the wait and time it took to get to me. Food had great flavor and white sauce was good. Vegetables were cooked to perfection. Would i eat again? Yes. Do i recommend this to others? Yes.
I used to be a regular customer here and I would order about three times a month, I ordered a chicken shrimp and lobster combo which is about 34 dollars. I come to pick up my order the lady charges me for the 34 but gives me chicken lobster and STEAK. I can’t have red meat or I get pretty sick so I had already made it home and I called to see if i could get a new one and the lady required me to bring the food back ? she claimed that lobster is expensive and we can’t waste the food I guess she needed evidence that I didn’t eat the steak. I came without the steak I completely forgot it in my rush. She charged me again despite my being a regular and was very rude and told me she didn’t care that I give them my business all the time. Customer service is extremely important and even after offering to ft my boy friend and have him show them the order is wrong they still made me pay 20 additional dollars.
Absolutely terrible service. Make sure you specify if you want any sauce with your hibachi because they have no idea most people would like the “hibachi” experience. And to top it off, the food itself was at best, edible. No joke, don’t waste your money here.
usually this place is really good, me and my family come here often but today the food was very bad. the rice seemed burnt and had what looked like old grease on it and the food was cold when i picked it up.
