Always a go-to fave for our family! We normally get breakfast no matter what time we go and have never been disappointed. The hashbrowns are amazing and I love the toast. Our daughters like to take their friends there and they have always been welcomed. It is a great, safe place for late night/early morning food fueling after events and fun.
Their hash browns were half way fried noodles. They were disgusting. I called them on the phone and asked them if that’s how it was supposed to be and they said they are shredded potatoes. Just see the pictures please.
Went after a concert and the place was packed. We got a table quickly and the waitress did a great job considering it was her and two(?) others. Food was as expected for late night diner.
Since i was a teenager I have enjoyed this place at absurdly late hours when desperately in need of grease and a cup or two of coffee to either preemptively defend myself from a horrible hangover or eat my first meal of the day for a multitude of reasons. Now as a older and slightly less rachet adult I may even show up at an hour that is more fitting for breakfast or at least after waking up instead of before passing out. The service is always with a smile and a joke even when the place is crawling with new generation of kids just like I was or truly still am. The waffles never fail and the food never fails to make you wait but is always worth it. Just like the love bug that has been stock in the roof for years I will still find the same servers and myself and now my own kids placed in a booth and eating laughing and people watching hopefully for another 20 years or so. Thanks for the memories and stay the same. And I am still waiting for my coffee refill...
We got breakfast food and a burger. Best burger I've ever had. Food is true diner style and delicious. Service was good considering how busy they were, and food didn't take too long to come out. Kitchen is right behind the "bar" area and you can pretty much see them cook if you want to. Food and service experience was great, bathrooms unpleasant.
Stopped in on a locals recommendation. I was in a party of four. We got a table right away and the attentive waitress got us coffee and tea as soon as we seated. The country ham and eggs was superb. Large portions and well priced. I give this place a must do if in the Greensboro area.
Where and what to eat is like the dreaded debate at our house usually. One Saturday morning, we pondered what to get for breakfast. We agreed to check Herbies out after driving past so many times and saying we need to try it.My husband loves the bacon omelette and their scattered hash browns are a million times better than that cliche breakfast place. It’s quickly become our new favorite place to grab a quick bite. Everybody is always super friendly, we get great service and our food is served fast and hot.
By far the least greasy breakfast food I've had. ABSOLUTELY SUPERB from walk-in, the quick and KIND service ?? I really wanna mention the shredded potatoes and how they were maximal in flavor alone and minimal in the amount of grease. All around phenomenal. Keep up the good work!
Great breakfast spot. The team works well together to get your food out HOT and fresh! Watched Chef clean the grill at least 3 times through our breakfast. Kind folks and good food.
Most of the food was good tonight besides the dog toy rubber like chicken breast on the club sandwich my buddy ordered and the waitress put his replacement order behind 6 others instead of replacing it immediately and then completely ignored our table for the next ½hr, no refills, forgotten toast, and no acknowledgment of why we had to wait. Sucks that terrible service could leave such a bad taste. Hopefully they can get it turned around, I used to love this place.
