First and last time at Grey’s Tavern, Truly an experience like never before, I visit the place because my friends want to eat chicken wings. A young lady at the bar took our drink and appetizer orders. Once we left the premises, the the second waitress, who was not even our waitress, came out behind us and told the young man from security to not allow us to return to the premises again. We actually went back and asked security what the reason was for the young woman she gave him those instructions. But the one who responded with attitude was the boyfriend of that employee with extreme rudeness. He was asked for the owner's name and refused to share it. These type of employees are what make small businesses close. There really wasn't any interaction with this young lady, and per my friend it is not the first time she’s experienced this type of behavior from this woman. Not clear if ethnicity is an issue but the woman had no issues interacting with the Caucasian individuals, but it’s clear she has an issue with other ethnicities. Heavy set blonde white waitress on Saturday night and her Caucasian boyfriend, these people are evil.
Heavyset blonde white waitress working Saturday nights and her boyfriend are MISERABLE, racist and rude. I am a Spanish female. At first I thought it was just me she had a problem with and reading all these reviews I know I’m not alone. The owner must be racist too keeping all these people around for so long after all these terrible reviews. I don’t understand how with all these terrible reviews they have 4 stars here. They must be having family and friends rate good stars. Sad, because the cook, Dj, security is amazing. This couple ruins the ENTIRE ESTABLISHMENT. Do not take your money there - they are not good people. The owner can’t be any different if he continues to employ them.

Warning. They will tell you that you can not get in as a black man with a white tshirt on, only to have a white man walk out of the bar with a white T-shirt on 2 minutes after you exit the line. Would not recommend this establishment to people or color.
Best bar in Greensboro hands down. Good drink prices, great food, and quick friendly service. Don't be fooled by nattys next door, this place is wayy better and you will be served much quicker. The prices are great and the bartenders are amazing. You will catch me here at least once a week because my girlfriend is addicted to the spinach feta dip. They also have "to go" drinks that you can walk around downtown with which is sweet. See a guy in there with a skateboard on any given day its probably me.
DO NOT GO HERE! Limelight, Fat Tuesdays, long shark and plenty of other bars/clubs are so much better. They don’t respect customers, are money hungry after me and friends gave over $50 in tips and got mad that when we saw the receipt and thought we got the wrong receipt I’m calling the alcohol admin for the size shot you poured too! shots aren’t $8 each especially in Greensboro you pored mini shots.
Relative to the price, the portion sizes are huge. I got cheese fries and they were very, very good.The bartender was very nice.
Worst experience ever in Downtown Greensboro!I witnessed the bartender completely ignore a patron because it was suppose to be bar service only. The gentleman tried to get her attention several times and she continued to side eye and give poor service. I have frequent this business several times and have never experienced anything like it. My favorite cook works in the kitchen so by no means do I think this place is “THAT TYPE OF PLACE” yet let me tell you what happened. Of course the man trying to get the attention of the bartender was African American there was a couple Caucasian that came and sat down and the bartender brought over waters with lemon, menus and proceeded to take their order.This was so disturbing as an observer that I had to call her out on what I just witnessed. Her response was “Look this is my day off, so I’m not even suppose to be here!”I told her that was no excuse for what I just witnessed. She asked me to leave instead of being held accountable for her actions.I have reached out to the owner to try and resolve this issue!Horrible service horrible experience
