Ordered on a Sunday afternoon. Food was ready when I got there which was unusual, way too quick to have cooked the food fresh. Sesame Chicken was cold, soggy, not much chicken in the breading, and way too much sauce, overpriced at $14. There is no way that the sesame chicken was cooked made to order. The steamed vegetables w/ tofu was barely cooked, all the vegetables were crunchy and basically raw, once again overpriced at $12. My other food was good as expected but my order total was over $50, which is extremely expensive for take out Chinese food and for that price the quality has to be there. Unfortunately this time the quality was terrible and I will have a tough time wanting to eat there again.
Second visit since COVID-19 restrictions lifted. Ordered crab Rangoon. It was filled with a smidge of cream cheese. No imitation crab meat. Crust was tasteless, overcooked, thick, dry, hard.. I'm used to crispy light crusty pockets of cream cheese and imitation crab. Hot and sour soup terrible. No pork slices. No carrot slices. Two bamboo slices. Very spicy, but otherwise no taste. More like a gelatin than a soup.
They have the best Wonton Soup and Egg Rolls in Guilford County. My family enjoys the flavors of many of their meals.
Food was very disapointing. Stream dumplings sauce tasted like just plain soy sauce with a few green onions. Very bland without any taste to compliment the dumplings. The hot and "extra spicy" shrimp was anything but spicy.First time try and never again.
We used to eat excessive amounts of dumplings here, but they changed their recipe for them. I love this place so much! Please bring back the old recipe for those doughy dumplings! So good.
good food. good prices friendly people
Everything you want from a strip mall Chinese food restaurant. Yum food, familiar favorites… Their lunch special contains a huge amount of food. Great deal.
Incredible. Just moved here, but this will be my go to spot for Chinese. I ordered the Moo Goo Gai Pan and it was perfectly cooked and had lots of fresh veggies! Lots of people commenting on wait times. Chinese restaurants always have long wait times during dinner/lunch rushes or on weekends, so if they quote you a wait time of anything more than 10 minutes, tack an additional 15-30 minutes on that time to be realistic. Or you could just wait for good food! :))
Tried for the first time tonight based on good reviews & word of mouth. Definitely didn’t disappoint! Food was ready within time quoted, great service, & HUGE portions. We live on the other side of town, and food was still piping hot by the time we got home. Everything was incredibly delicious, definitely the best Chinese food I’ve had in Greensboro. Lomein especially was ?? We will make the drive to come back for sure.
Absolutely, hands down, THE best Chinese takeout around. You get a more than generous portion for the price, with plenty of protein in the dishes too! They do not skimp. The egg rolls are huge, and packed, and have a great texture. The Singapore Chow Mei Fun noodles are amazing. The General Tso's can't be beat. Now, you will probably have to wait. But trust me, it is so worth it. Your order will be right and the food will be delicious. Go ahead and plan on waiting 30 to 45 minutes if you're ordering during a busy time.I've eaten at Golden Wok several years now and they will always keep my business.
