Ate at the Crazy Crab in Greensboro yesterday. The food was good, the service was okay. They double charged me. That is not okay. I think the server ran the card but forgot to put the tip amount in, then realized it, then just re-ran the card in my absence with the tip added. I called them to resolve it. They told me that they only charged the correct amount. I have disputed the first amount with my bank, and will be waiting up to ten days to get the money back. I would not recommend the restaurant to anyone, and feel that when someone swipes my card, that should be the end of the transaction. This establishment went back and re-ran my card numbers after I left, and that is NOT okay. I will get my money back, but not without a lot of work and the certainty that I will not be returning. Be warned
Great spot for a good crab boil!??
the food was really good they have a great crab dip seating was comfortable and we had an awesome waitress
For some reason the food here doesn't taste as good as the branch on New Garden. Trying it again today, hopefully it's better. Staff is great though. Very welcoming.
I ordered a boil with shrimp, lobster and crab. The legs were so tiny but good. I got my lobster tail and there was no lobster in it, they did bring me a new one right away. The sauce was sooooo salty! The waitress was sweet but I asked for a Pina Colada and she asked me if I wanted salt or sugar ?♀️ It was a one and done for us.
First time experiencing the traditional crab and shrimp meal, boiled in a bag with loads of flavour, potatoes and corn. Guzzled down with some ice cold beer. Be prepared to get your hands and shirt dirty. Great experience.
Blue crabs were $19 a pound got three tiny crabs and they had spots on legs and meat not tasty so I threw away. The 1lb snow crab and shrimp were not worth the $38. The snow crab legs were partial body's and not great. The boil came with shrimp, potatoes and corn I had to pay $5 extra for boiled egg and sausage. . Corn and shrimp were delicious. The egg and sausage were good as well. . I threw away those spotty baby crabs that should have been thrown back in seen and not cooked and served. I was very disappointed!!!!
My girlfriend and I ordered 2 boils and a kids meal. It totaled to $105. We were expecting so much more, flavor wise, for the amount of the two plates. We both asked for “mixed” and medium for spicy level. No seasoning visible, yet it was mostly spicy. It seemed that they used nothing but the Zatarain’s Crab Boil Liquid. There were so many good reviews, which is why we chose this place, but never again.
My first visit the food was great..The customer service was excellent..Wonderful place for handicap persons and family. I had a hurt leg and had concerns about sitting comfortably...the staff checked my concerns and made sure i was comfortable after several suggestions. Being a new customer I wanted to eat my favorite seafood. The staff explained the menu and gave excellent suggestions so i could have variety and satisfaction...i was surprised the manager came by our table to check our status. Crab legs were warm and juicy..the shrimp was so plentiful we could not eat them all..the hush puppies smelled so good and the taste was delicious. Definitely cant wait to return and bring friends...
Interior design is very warm and open. Friendly staff. Both myself and my lady’s did came quickly. My lady had the Thai teriyaki chicken which was very plentiful however the dish was very very salty they had too much chili teriyaki sauce it was like swimming in it. I ordered the whiting, fish was nicely fried however when I took a bite it too was very very salty plus the flesh was not white and flaky was. Kind of dark and tasted old. The corn on my wife’s dish had a sour taste and plus it was chewy Had high hopes for this place since the previous operators of this space had salty ass food too and they closed shop. very disappointed.
