Wonderful food and amazing service from our waitress kind and very helpful ??
My wife and I were seated promptly. Our order was taken in a reasonable time by our server Haley. The food came out quickly and was correct. Haley offered us a to-go iced tea. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
We had been seated and waited for an appropriate time to recover our food. When it came to dessert my husband asked for 2 strawberry shortcakes our server bought us 1. The cake was very dry had a little strawberry sauce on it and no whip cream. My husband had asked for the 2nd one and he had lots of whipped cream on his. I'm sorry but the waiter needs to be retrained for better customer service.
One is customer service related, the other is customer related. Upon being seated by the hosted, we asked if we could be seated away from a crowded area which was one table behind all of the rest instead of between tables. The hostess, with pink hair in the back said she could not seat us there. A few minutes or so later, she proceeded to seat a white couple at the same table. At first I said well maybe they had a reservation, but, no that was not the answer. I asked her why upon leaving and she was in shock at first then made a statement about her manager. The second one involved a customer who chose to blow his nose several times after he ate. This is why I always avoided certain restaurants because some people have no TABLE MANNERS!!!
My daughter came to take me out to eat! We tried to have a good time but it shows on the table we didn't eat good at all! Never come back!
I love Cracker Barrel generally but tonight in Greensboro/Wendover was bad. We were seated and waited 10 minutes before our waitress arrived. She was pleasant and kind. She took our order and it took 35 minutes to arrive. My fried chicken was hard and my 2 sides of 3 cheese squash and carrots were meager. I can only assume it was squash because the presentation was not shall we say "attractive"?There were other guests and I did see one table send food back from two diners. Maybe the cook was new? Bad day??
Hideous food and poor customer service. I saw a server taking but biscuits that had been served to one customer and add it to another customer plate. The server who waited on us was grumpy and awful, refusing to substitute anything. The new manager is awful as well. Came to our table and refused to give my dad sugar cured ham, stating that the other ham was sugar cured ham (a lie). These people get an F for customer service. I have been coming to this Cracker Barrel for years, but they just lost a good paying customer.

My wife & I went to Cracker Barrel on Wendover near Golden Corral earlier tonight to eat, She ordered the Sunday chicken, I ordered the sampler. While waiting we ask for biscuits & jelly, the waiter came back and said they had no biscuits at the time and also said they was out of Chicken & dumplings, so I ask if I could substitute a house salad for the dumplings or another piece of meatloaf, the waiter came back and said they can't substitute anything, which I thought was stupid. I changed my order to the Sunday chicken also. Seemed we waited forever to get our meal, then the chicken on my plate was not done, wife's was was hard as if it had been sitting a while. When I called after I got home to talk to the mgr, he said they can't sub. anything with this new system. I loved to go there, but We'll never go back again, worst experience I ever had at a restaurant!! I have already sent email to corporate telling about our experience...
