Good was tasteless was told they had the best breakfast food myself and my husband was so disappointed. Some people just don't have taste buds. First and last time eating here.
This place needs more love in the kitchen like some seasoning on the food. The grits were bland and thick. My bacon egg and cheese sandwich was dry the eggs was dry and the bacon was soft and not crunchy. I feel bad for a lot of food places because they have to raise their prices and the quality & quantity of food lacks in both areas. If the prices are raised then the cooking needs to be improved as well. Get someone that actually enjoys cooking back in the kitchen. You can tell some employees do care and some don’t care at all and the ones that don’t are unfortunately over the food.
I've been going to Country Kitchen for over a decade. The food has always been decent, the staff friendly, and the service fast. Over the last few years (even pre-Covid), they've been declining. Today I took my two boys for lunch. The waitress was polite and explained they were behind. After almost an hour, I asked her the check on out ticket. She did, they hadn't started on it. I asked her to pull the ticket, we left.I understand everyone is short-staffed. If that's the case, don't fill your tables. You're overworking your staff and failing your customers. We won't be back.
I like Country Kitchen, and I'm sorry to see them closing at 2:00 pm everyday. There are no other restaurants in the area to get home cooked meals...such a shame....
They have great waffles and friendly staff. They also make their ranch it is not prepackaged.

Friendly folks in a nice clean atmosphere. Our dinners were very tasty and the location made for a very convenient stop on my way home from Greensboro. Don't miss the sweet, light, and fluffy homemade cornbread too! ?
Delicious food and great service even when they were short handed. Make sure you add an order of cornbread we loved it!
