I don’t want to give a star. This was the worst experience. I ordered a peach milkshake and when I received my shake there was chocolate all over the cup. I asked the cashier if she would get me another because I didn’t want to taste the chocolate. The cashier got an attitude and tried to wipe my cup off. I said to her no I wanted an entirely new shake. She closed the window, said a few things and began to make another shake. Another coworker handed me the new shake. I told her thank you and went on my way. Once I got to my destination I pick my shake up to place the straw in and a fingernail fell from my cup!!!! I took the shake back and as livid. I was shocked at how many cares they didn’t have for the situation. I have never and never will again eat at any cookout. I’m done. This is how restaurants get lawsuits.
I'm so upset with how I was treated at this location. There are 2 drive thru lines. I know this and have been known this. Anyway when I went the employee at the walk up window started screaming at me to get over in the other drive thru line. I did so. And the entire 30 some minutes I waited in line that same employee not once yelled at another customer to get over in the other line. Being forced to go to the other line I waited about 30 minutes longer than if I had stayed in the line I was originally in. And then my order wasn't right. Bacon cheese fries and no bacon at all and it was like pulling teeth to get my shake and I didn't even get my drink. It will be a while before I go back to this location.
The worst experience on my life. Myself and four others waited at the walk up for 25 minutes continuously knocking and no one would even look in our direction. I was the first person in line and the last to receive my food. They only gave the others half orders. One gentleman ended up getting his money back because after waiting 25 minutes to get someone's attention and 25 minutes for food that was half wrong and still had to wait on milkshakes. None of the employees could care less because they were to busy chatting and hanging out. The manager yelled them because he was being yelled at because of them and they didn't seem to care and went back to hanging out chatting and having a good old time. I will never go back to this one because 2 people waiting said it is always like that at this particular Cook Out. Only gave it 1 stat because I had to select one.
The food was great! Everything was hot, fresh and accurate. I had the BBQ plate and 5 pc nuggets. I was told that this location always serve hot food. I'll definitely be going back!
I went early and the lady on headset was very unprofessional . Asked for the manager and he gave me the food for free but he threw it at me . Didn’t care about my issue and didn’t check his employees . I don’t know who the manger was but causaian a little Chubb . Short hair . The girl had a short blackHair style with a blonde streak. I will not be coming back
It's been 3 years since I've had cookout, and coming back to Greensboro this was the first place I wanted. It was very disappointing, my order was wrong and the extremely long wait time was unacceptable. I understand things are busier these days due to the pandemic, but we tried to wait reasonably for our food. 3 years I waited for that burger. 3 years!
I would give it a zero star is if I could. When I hear the word cook out I think an actual food substantial food like you know how we see they do in the good old country cookout barbecue you know but what this place is it’s like Taco Bell you’re better off going to Taco Bell I am absolutely disappointed. When I hear the word cookout I’m thinking big slabs of ribs with all kinds of different Rob’s baked macaroni and cheese big chopped up pieces of chicken cooked to perfection barbecued to perfection this place was neither of these things I want to go and get my money back I am so disappointed first I’m going there and my last time
I think my 2nd visit to a Cook Out. Ordered 2 hot dogs and fries. After driving off, I found they didn't give me any napkins. For a drive through, that's just basic and unacceptable (thanks for the mustard all over my hands). Fries were mediocre at best, compared to other fast food. It's not like it's bad food, there's just nothing great about it
Quality of service wasn't excatly what I was expecting however our late night snack wasn't a disappointment. Tasty food at a nice location. Cookout is one of the best things about Greensboro NC.
Is this a joke ?? I ordered a Cajun chicken tray with double Cajun fries and a side of chicken tenders. My tenders look like nuggets and one piece didn’t even have chicken in it, just breading. My fries are less than what one side of fries looks like and have zero Cajun seasoning on there. My sandwich had just cheese and chicken on it. My drink had zero ice in it. PEOPLE GET PAID TO WORK. I have called the location 16 times at this point. This is ridiculous.
