I like the coffee but I did hate the music it was very loud and disruptive to the coffee shop vibe so it was hard to hear people. But overall coffee was nice and their vegan blueberry muffins.
Laid back. Great selection of coffee based beverages
A great little coffee shop! It was a nice day so we sat outside. My iced latte with almond milk was great. They also have pastries and alcohol with plenty of places to read or study. The arcade looked fun in the back though.
Staple neighborhood coffee shop. Great place to study, listen to live music at night, just hang out. The staff is always great and many have been there a long time. Outdoor seating and dog friendly! The coffee options are great plus teas, smoothies, beer and wine, ice cream and pastries.
Best coffee and workspace in town.Outdoor patio, video game lounge, drinks of all sizes and shapes, Pride friendly, awesome staff like Don....I could go on.....And I will, many times. This space hosts open mics and could DO even More Live Music or Deejay sets to draw real quality crowds.EDM, hip-hop, Acoustic acts!Question the regulars.. What do people want to hear and show up for?Geez, get a booking agent ;)I'm sure there are more than dead heads around the other nights of the week haha!L9ve Nate Shockley's Art and the display area could use a spruce up. Bring in some plants and tend to the garden out front in the smoking area with some new varieties of seeds, vegetables, or whatever the owner and staff want to grow and you would be a winner. In Greensboro its not hard to find coffee or a lounge. It's tough to find the right corner. And some GOOD live music. Walker is the area; when Suds is a dud and Wahoos cheers for the wrong Cavaliers... This is still worth a 5 star trip.I've been in Denver, Colorado for the last 7 years, but when I visit Greensboro or stick around like a local. This is the open spot. Just get creative like some other businesses making great impressions in boom towns like Boulder or Portland and you could win over even more hearts!"Go GreenGet Boro$upport LocalStay Global"Keep it Jive,Kell3n KleverFox
Wonderful atmosphere, great coffee, comfortable cool spot to hang out! We live in the neighborhood and love to come here! Friendly staff! A+++++
Great staff in the older and new faces, the hiring manager has a keen eye for kind and well tempered employees. Coffee and various snacks are always great. The Hot Chai Tea with coconut milk is a dangerously addictive beverage which I highly recommend. There is a really cool game room located in the back and local artist have nice original artworks for sale displayed on the walls throughout. Live music and other events zare hosted on various nights weekly which are always an entertaining and pleasurable excursion from the typical bar scene that house similar events. Also locally crafted merch from tshirts to all sorts of doodads are available to purchase. My favorites being some of the records and CDs of our hometown musicians. Highly recommend at least a visit if not a full-blown regular patronage. Keep up the good work
First time visiting Common Grounds. I ordered the Angela Bassett coffee, which is dark chocolate, lavender, and vanilla. So delicious. I definitely recommend to visit for the other variety of drinks they offer
Best Place for Coffee on a Rainy Morning. And serving a variety of beverages all day. Comes with references and speaks for itself.
Dustin Keene nearly drove my family off Wendover while apparently driving drunk, weaving in-and-out of traffic with a blinker on. If not weaving, then his black convertible was attempting to sniff the rear end of every car he was behind. Ultimately he managed to knock me into another lane, all while flipping my family the bird. I found him safely parked and reported his driving to the GPD. Do customers experience this in the coffee shop? I’ll never know. My roast is better, I’m sure.
