Take out order of the 20 pc wings and 10 pc drumsticks. It took about 30 minutes wait get my order made. The drive back to my house was 25 min and the chicken was still crispy! The flavors I picked was half & half spicy and soy garlic. It’s worth the wait. The Korean fried chicken was flavorful and delicious. My family enjoyed it.
The place was clean, hand sanitizer on tables and a little trash can. Too cute. The staff were all super nice, helpful, and attentive. The food. ?I’m drooling just thinking about it. The best Korean fried chicken I’ve had in NC, hands down. Everything was fresh and the ginger soy was flavorful without being salty. I have no complaints.
That honey fried chicken was absolutely awesome. Keep in mind they cook fresh so be prepared to wait but it's worth it. I don't like that I cannot order legs alone without the useless sides but oh well, chicken legs were worth it. Wings were just as good...both super crispy and tasty. Scratch fried rice was also good.
Chicken Bee has the BEST Korean fried chicken, if the the best fried chicken, in the Triad. Their chicken is incredibly juicy, and their batter is crispy and perfectly fried. Their flavors include honey garlic, soy garlic, spicy garlic, creamy onion, and scallion top. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting their honey garlic chicken. Also, they have AUTHENTIC KOREAN BINGSOO. Their bingsoo is comprised of frozen milk and various toppings, such as chocolate, mango, and strawberry. I got their classic red bean bing soo and thought that it was worth it. I'll definitely be back again soon. The only downside is the time that it takes for the food to come out. I waited 40 minutes after ordering for my food to arrive to the table. If they can work on decreasing this wait time, this restaurant has an extremely bright future ahead.WORTH IT? YES ABSOLUTELY! They have authentic Korean fried chicken and bingsoo! (Overall 8/10)
The fried chicken is sooo good. It is a little pricey for the amount you get and the wait time is usually kinda long but personally I think it’s worth. Definitely would be a place I would come to every now and then with my friends for lunch. I pair my fried chicken with a Coca Cola and pickled radish.
Just left there. They had me waiting with my toddler in the restaurant for 30 min just to tell me that my order never went through. When asked about my meal the clerk advised 10 min. When asked again he replied. 7-10 min. I watched 3-4 for people come in, sit down, eat, and leave. When I asked the clerk about my order again all he could say was the order didn’t go through and offered a refund. When asked about my meal or compensation they replied No and Sorry. It almost felt racial
Here are some cons:1. They don't put sauce on side2. They won't do half no sauce half with sauce (or different red sauce half & half) even though when you order WHOLE chicken they put half in one box and the other half in another box3. Do not expect any service if you're dining in4. No boneless chicken (why is it even on the menu?)5. You can't get korean red sauce if you're getting drumsticks only.. I'm not sure why because all they have to do is literally fry the drumsticks and toss it in pan with sauce and mix it6. Chicken doesn't have much meat on it if you get half/whole :( I'd recommend getting drumsticks but for the reason above related to sauce, I don't know how you would feel about it.Pros:1. Tastes good even if you get it delivered or get take-out (I live about 25 minutes away from this place)2. Very crispy and tastes better if you dine in3. Only Korean fried chicken place in triad as far as I know, and the sauces are actually great.PS.Sauce wise,Soy garlic is VERY salty.Honey garlic I would recommend if you don't like super salty sauce, but if you don't like sweet, just get soy garlic.. it's not super sweet though. I thought honey garlic was soy garlic at first because it tasted similar to Bonchon's soy garlic.
Simply delicious the korean red sauce is the spice that everyone is probably looking for
I was picking up food and was told it was cooking be about 10 minutes. 30 later it was ready after it had been sitting on the counter for 20 minutes without the name being cold or being brought out to me. Horrible service
got 2 bibimbap bowls with rice and miso soup and fish cake ballsThe bowls were cold and tasteless and the fishcake balls were soggy and looked nothing like the picture on the menu. I couldn’t even finish my food and I asked for the appetizer to be removed and was told the best they can do is half off because it’s already been cooked smh. The other menu item is just overpriced fried chicken tossed is sauces. Not worth $35
