the chef is wonderful. The eggs come out perfectly cooked, in a variety of styles. The seasonings are balanced. The lemon blueberry ricotta pancakes are delicious- and loaded with ricotta. The staff is friendly and hard-working
My hubby took me here on a brunch date. As a native of Haiti, he is immersed in the French cuisine! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was so good the smoked salmon was amazing the crêpes was amazing. The mimosas the potato pie was delicious! Don’t walk here… run!!
First time at Chez Genèse and the atmosphere and staff were really friendly, loved them! The food was good but there were some things that I didn’t like about them. I found that the French toast became soggy SUPER quick after just drizzling a small amount of syrup, so I suggest maybe dipping it if you don’t mind it getting soggy. The breakfast pizza was pretty good and other than that, the other dishes were alright. I wouldn’t mind coming back with friends every now and then for brunch.
After being told 35 mins, turned out to be an hour wait, we were finally sat. No big deal to wait as the food really is amazing. However this is the second time of poor poor poor service. This time, we sat for an additional 25-30 mins. Wait staff staring at us repeatedly in the dining room. Host visible to us. And not one person offered even so much as water. Not one. Even after saying something, we still had no service offered. Just a “I’m sorry and well….have a nice day” when we finally said enough of waiting. No food is worth 2 hours even if it’s the best of Greensboro. And not even so much as an offer to make it right. I very seriously doubt we will ever be back, nor will I recommend to others.
Such a lovely restaurant! I had the eggs Benedict. It came with the best side of fruit. I also had orange juice and a cappuccino. The staff was great. The space is filled with plants and just beautiful! I will definitely be back.

I absolutely loved their cappuccinos tasty with creamy foam and Dutch boy definitely to wait for it takes about 15 minutes but I think while I was eating breakfast the time has passed so fast. Fresh fruit plate is amazing with quite a variety of berries. Love sweet sour combo.

A touch of France. Another first time. Excellent eggs Benedict and avocado toast. Good coffee. Excellent and attentive service from friendly staff.
