The food is great....but the wait time for take out is waaY TOO LONG!!!
We picked up dinner for takeout. I ordered inside instead of calling. The wait was only about 20 minutes.The cheeseburgers are always made-to-order and delicious. The crinkle fries were still hot once we made it home - that’s a big plus.We also tried the ground steak dinner meal. I was not to pleased that the ground steak was served so plain - no gravy, no onions, just the steak burger. I could have had grilled onions added, but without gravy it wouldn’t have made a big difference. Don’t get me wrong, the meat was juicy and cooked perfectly with no grisly bits, just rather plain IMO. However the fried okra, black eyed peas and green beans were really good. When I got home I made some quick gravy with onion, red & green bell peppers, Mccomicks vegetable seasoning and a bit of beef bouillon and olive oil.My next Monday meal will not be the special, but one of the delicious sandwiches are always a win.
I eaten her twice with my mother. It is one of her favorite places to eat. I grew up in Greensboro. There use to be place in Greensboro called Boar and Castle. Many people may remember this place. I sure do. Well Center Grove Grill has a Castle burger and it may be better than the original one. All I know it melted in my mouth. It is a great little grill to visit and enjoy a great meal. Childhood memories are great to revisit. Hope you will take the time to try this place.
Clean and friendly. The food had great taste and did not take forever to get. The place as set up like an old 50s cafe and is a great place to visit.
I had the best hot dogs today. my goal is to have tried everything on the menu. everything I've had so far has been excellent.
Love this place. Me and my family come here quite often. Really friendly staff, they make you feel at home. I also love the 50s theme of the restaurant.

Food is generally decent. They are pushing the new mask mandates on people or this would be more stars. We have to stop this somewhere even at the local business level. The dine in and take out line should be separate.
Oh I love their food, it’s really great. And the staff there are so wonderful and very friendly, and are on top of everything. When someone needs something they’re there, the only thing I don’t like is . It’s so hard to get a call in, I can call a hundred times for a pick up order.and it rings until it stops , so you have to go in and if they’re busy then have wait.
