This restaurant has some good food...I order 3 piece country style fish with Cole slaw and french fries everything was on point....next visit I will try the fried cat fish.

I bought a family meal of fish from CAPTAIN D's lets be real we know the fish is fake. They gave me enough Tatar sauce to go on 1 fish and told me I have to pay for more. They wanted me to pay for REALLY tarta sauce for fake fish. I had about 10 peace of fish spent about 30 dollars and they wanted me to buy Tatar sauce. If you can't afford to sale fake fish. Close it down a sale HOT DOGS OMG, SOME OF THESE PLACES DONT GIVE A DAM ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS

Food was hot. However the level of professionalism and customer service by the young female working driver-thru was very nasty and unfriendly. Called to report to the manager. If you don't like your job find something else!

Drove 26 miles from Thomasville to find out drive thru only. Had large order to place and I was not doing my order in drive thru. This could have been put on web site so I could have called and made other arrangements. As a large company, your people need to find help and solve this problem. If you can't solve this close the doors.

The quality of their food has fallen off a great deal and I do mean at every location I attend. I worked for Captain D's in my 20's when quality and customer service was very important.

I hadn't been here in over 20 years but other business brought me near here around lunch time so I came buy to see if they were still in business & was delighted to see that they were. Years ago I worked in this area of North Greensboro & regularly dined here as there are almost no seafood restaurants in the area. I ordered the Fish & Chips platter (which always remind me of my Submarine days stationed in Scotland). The inside dining area was closed due to covid requirements at the time & they were under staffed which is a common problem right now with all businesses so the wait was quite long. The staff were very friendly & the business was mildly busy with about 5 other customers waiting for orders. There was cushioned seating to sit while waiting & the other customers were friendly & I engaged a couple of them in conversation. I ate in my car & the food was as delicious as I always remembered it to be. There were 2 other employees in the parking lot who were waiting for thier shift to start & I engaged them also in friendly conversation & found them to be very charming. I would highly recommend this restaurant for thier delicious food if you are hungry & in this area.

Today I visit Captain D on Cone Blvd. I just visit there on last Sunday and within a few days the price increase and Question the cashier with braids and lip tattoo. She became very RUDE and disrespectful and would not stop. The manager exactly let her get away with it because they are short staff. NEVER AGAIN.

I got the fish plate came with 3 pieces of crispy fish and some fries and 2 hush puppies! You had to order the drink separately wish they had combos that had the drinks included. The hush puppies was ok would have preferred bread like a roll or something instead. Overall nice good midday snack. I heard the southern fried fish is good so I will try that next time.

We love Captain D's. The only drawback is that it is the only location in Greensboro. And this location is far out from where we live, so we go out there once in a while for a treat. We usually order the 10 piece fish family pack with okra and baked potato for the sides. They charge extra for the "premium sides" but it's worth it. Everything is cooked fresh. And it comes out so crispy and delicious. Today we ordered the family seafood feast and it came with 12 pcs of fish, shrimp, and 3 deviled crab and it was all fantastic. The cashier at the window was very polite and apologized for our wait. I don't mind waiting because it is a large amount of food rand I know it's being cooked fresh. We ordered their gallon of sweet tea and it's so good also. The menu is a bit pricey- but it definitely is worth it. Wish they had more locations in Greensboro!

I absolutely love the fish! I normally get the fish by itself or with sides. This last visit I got the giant fish sandwich. I didn't like the bread. It had a stale texture and taste. It wasn't good at all. I decided to just eat the fish without the bread. I wish they would go back to the wheat sub roll they use to serve the fish sandwich on. It was delicious. That was my only complaint. Otherwise, the fish is always delicious.
