great burgers excellent cook on the burgers...
I came to Greensboro from Charlotte, and needed gas before driving back. When I opened my car door at the gas station, the most incredible scent of flame grilled burgers slapped me in the face. Gas just got demoted to priority #2. #1 was finding the source of this aroma of gluttony.... it was Big Burger Spot on Battleground Ave.... I don't care if my car gets stolen at this point, I have to satisfy this curiosity. Maybe it was compulsory at this point. I ordered the bacon bacon cheddar (almost big) w onion rings.... if I had to take one burger with me to the end of the world, THIS is it! It was every bit as good as the scent, if not better.....I got my gas, and drove back to Charlotte with the afterglow similar to a psychedelic trip....MAGNIFICENT! ?

Do not let this place fool you....this was by far one of the best burgers I have had! They have a really cool outdoor area with the neatest painted fence I have ever seen...pets...tons and tons of pets. We will definitely be back ?
I love a good burger! But this was the worst ever- frozen patties pre-treated with charcoal - yuk! I should have gone to Burger King
Large selection of burgers on the menu. You can also build your own burger. Choose from three sizes of burger patties (Almost Big, Big, and Colossal). They also offer substitutes for the patty, several choices for cheese, and two long lists of toppings. You can order regular fries or choose from a long list of fries topped with fixings. If you're not feeling a burger they offer other sandwiches and salads too.
The name is misleading because the location nor the burger fit the name "Big Burger Spot". I ordered the big build your own cheeseburger and sweet potato fries and a beverage and it was $13.95. I think the attached pictures explain why I was so disappointed. It was just ok but the burger tasted frozen and looked like preformed patties with very little taste. The condiments were plentiful but that's about all I can say positive.
Best burgers in Greensboro and it's not close. In >20 visits I have never had a bad experience. Most of the time I order online, and it's always ready by the time I pick it up.
For $25 for 2 burgers I would expect to atleast have some salt on my burger. Also my burger was very dry and bland. Really disappointed. The toppings were great. My expectations were alot higher. Will NOT go back! Tasted worse than a McDonald's burger that's saying alot. Do not recommend!
Yummmyyyy. Every thing we have ever ordered has come out delicious. Staff crazy fast, always up beat, and happy to make suggestions. Bought a bag of the fresh made crackling for a party and it was a hit! Large portions, fresh toppings. Definitely a fan of the house sauce!
