I hired Amoroso's to make my wedding cake and I couldn't be happier! Every flavor we tried during our cake tasting was absolutely incredible and luckily since we had 3 tiers, we were able to choose 3 different flavors! Also, whenever I had any questions or concerns, Meredith was easy to contact and fully eased my worries. Overall, Amoroso's did a fantastic job!!!
EDIT: Downgrading to one star because of the bold-faced lies in the owner's reply. I have phone records showing I was the one who called them. I also did not ask for the cheesecake to be cut - the woman I spoke to on the phone asked if I wanted it cut and did not tell me that affected availability. Furthermore, if Amoroso's and Cheesecakes by Alex don't want to be connected by customers, members of the Amoroso family should not parade the connection around the community as if it's one business.--This is a lovely place to pop in and get a snack, but do NOT order from here or their sister bakery, Cheesecakes by Alex, for special occasions. I ordered two cheesecakes from them for my rehearsal dinner a week in advance. When I called the day I expected to pick them up to confirm the pickup time, they told me they only had one available and there was no way they could make another one in time. They acknowledged that they had the order written down but didn’t seem all that bothered they wouldn’t be able to fulfill it.A couple years ago, I had a similar experience at Cheesecakes by Alex (same family owns it). They apparently write their custom orders on sticky notes on the freezer and somehow lost the order I placed for my boyfriend’s birthday cake. When I came to pick it up, they accused me of not placing the order. Fortunately I had the receipt and was able to get a refund.Despite this, I chose Amoroso’s for our rehearsal dinner because my now-husband loves their cheesecake so much. I won’t make the mistake again, and I don’t plan to go back to either establishment for everyday treats. For a place that has ornately decorated cakes in their display window, you’d think they’d put more care into custom orders.
Where are Chris and Ralph? The customer experience is now terrible. Our families have used this bakery for years and this was also our stop for all work celebrations. Even after the HP location closed we had no problem driving out to Hunt Club. Our normal call in pick up orders now include unpleasantries and arrogance these last few times. We understand staff shortage but no return calls and attitudes when calling the location makes it a terrible experience no matter how delish your goods are. Please bring it back to how it used to be. We miss the original Amoroso feel! And please get someone to not allow Ashley to interface with customers. She says she is a mgr when we ask to speak to one but surely does not carry herself like one. Good job on everything else while working through all that is going on in this world!
I've this place! They always have tasty treats and are never overly busy or crowded. Coffee is well made. Staff is friendly. I would highly recommend the magic bars!
Ordered scones one day, picked up the next. Picked them based on other reviews. If the scones are any indication of the quality of other baked goods, I would never use them again. These were, by far, the worst scones, if that's what you want to call them, I've ever had. Dry texture, almost bitter tasting. All the sweetness was icing and sugar sprinkled on the top. Scones aren't normally very sweet and that's why we like them but these did not have much flavor at all except for bitterness. Will never try other items based on this experience. Very disappointed
Got a cannoli cake for husband's birthday and this is the only place to get one - little pricey but it's the only thing he looks for each year

Cute cute cute little bakery and cafe. Had cappuccino and salted caramel cupcake and sat in their little sitting lounge area.
Excellent selection of baked good. Best chocolate eclairs to be found. Cupcakes are very large compared to competition and many flavors to choose from.Such a variety that you won't be disappointed with any pick you make. Glad they are in Greensboro now.
I tried this bakery for the first time today. I ordered the snickerdoodle cupcake and the lemon crunch cupcake. The lemon crunch cupcake was absolutely delicious.
