I ordered the BBQ chicken, slaw and fries. The meal was great! Wow! The sauce was out of this world! Friendly staff, always checking to see if everything was OK. I loved it!!❤❤?

I had a pickup order from online and it was ready when I arrived. They made sure that the extras were packed and that the bag was sealed. I appreciated that they sealed the to go order incase it was a delivery. The staff was friendly and quick and I dont know if it's because of my size or that I ordered a platter, but they supplied me with two sets of cutlery and I felt kinda bad about that.
I went yesterday 6-20-2022 to get a pint of slaw. Their slaw has always been half chopped in my opinion but, that I got yesterday was such big chunks I could not even chew it. I came home & re-choppd it myself, TERRIBLE ! THANKS !
Arrived there around 3:45 food was great service was on point and I tipped my server and didn't mind doing that great service. Experience nothing like the one in Kinston.
Food was good as usual only thing this time my hush puppies were just a little too hard but other than that no complaints
They definitely eased up on the portions. Plate look like it was thrown together. BBQ and slaw was good but not chopped up like it use to be more chunks..
I do not understand why Smithfield's does not place parchment paper or something in the takeout plates to help keep the food in place. More than once the food has been out of place, hush puppies soggy where they have slid onto the food, slaw mixed with stew (really mixed not just a little spillage). The person who brought the plate to the car after I was asked to park literally had the plate tilted so all the food could mix together. The bar b que sandwich was way too soggy and the slaw was soupy. The fries were not fresh even after having to park and wait for the food. Food is too expensive to be consistently not done correctly. I wish I had taken a photo to post.
First visit to this restaurant as I love BBQ but wasn't a fan of Eastern Carolina style. Pleasantly surprised that the BBQ plates we got were GREAT and you have a choice of sauce. Service was absolutely fantastic from the order counter to the table. We were checked on 3 times during the meal by very friendly staff. Cleaning going on constantly, well worth 10 stars!
Very clean. Great service. Courteous staff. The food is pretty good but the chopped barbecue is missing something. A little bland for my liking. I will definitely go back to this location.
