Decided to try this place as daughter said friends she keeps in touch with here were raving about it. Never again! I had country fired steak which was awful. Was meat from a box that had a ridiculous amount of gravy. Not sure what potatoes were like as so much gravy I couldn't taste them. Think gravy was from a can as noticed it had nasty skin like stuff at bottom. Hush puppies were dry and tasteless. Green beans were okay. Husband had some sort of fish platter. Greasy fish, very salty shrimp. Very disappointing.
We were traveling thru and decided to check this place out..so glad we did.There were 9 of us and within 15 minutes we had our food. The food was great- no complaints from anyone. Excellent food! I totally recommend this restaurant!
Food is always amazing, today I decided to order to go and use the curbside option. Never again, you're supposed to call when you're on the way and then text when you arrive, placed. My order for 11:45 pick up and it's past 12 and I'm still waiting, plus I'm on my lunch break. I eventually get out and go and the woman behind the counter says she supposed to call when she's here, NO that's not the instructions sent to my phone or my conformation email.
Waitress was super sweet! My husband loved to burger with mac and cheese on it. My shrimp platter was fresh and tasty. Highly recommend this restaurant ?
We spotted this little restaurant while getting gas off 95 and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing, staff was great & the atmosphere is inviting. In our group we tried the club, islander, seafood platter & fried shrimp. Desserts to go were just as yummy! Come with a empty stomach, because your going to leave stuffed! Will definitely make a point to stop at again in our travels!

Let’s talk about the ONE HIT WONDER of this place ! Food was fantastic the first time I came. As a pregnant woman with cravings I decide to return. Only to receive sweet potato fries that taste like cleaning products and gives my mouth a burning sensation with a dash of numbness. So I tell the waitress, once I was for sure I wasn’t going crazy and she tells me that she has no idea why, because they don’t spray or use cleaning products in that area. At the time I was like well that’s what the fries taste like and I’m just worried about my baby I’m carrying. She was nice enough to ask me if I would like them to “Re-toss” them .. uhm no, redo or remake either one I don’t want to eat anything from a place that had my food tasting like cleaning products. Then I thought about her saying they don’t clean over there so……… Your food place is just dirty. Btw I’m military and they will over charge military and give them a discount at the same time, you pay the same price or more… I will never return and others I was with feel the same…. Sad because the first time was great, but I guess that’s how one hit wonders are right? So the 2stars are for the first time I went.
Fresh and hot food very friendly staff delicious cakes and pricing of food was affordable just can’t beat the quality of this food will be back enjoyed my meal thank you
Have been 3 times, and all 3 times was awesome. Highly recommend. People are very friendly and the food was very good.
Food was great. Service was nice. Had to sit in the front by the door. That was uncomfortable while eating.
