For $16-$21 dollars a plate I was far from impressed. The Turkey and brisket lacked the smokey essence and the taste lacked flavor and love. My mac and cheese was good. I have no complaints and the collard greens just didn’t curb my craving. The brisket and Turkey were pre-basted with the house bbq sauce, which has a nice amount of flavor, however this is a red flag for me when visiting an authentic bbq pit stop. My favorite part or Adam’s BBQ is the quality ingredients used.

Amazing food, I loved the potato salad and my Dad loved the BBQ & slaw!Too bad we're headed back to Minnesota!! We are coming back next year to buy a ton from here fer sure

Absolutely delicious!!! my favorite is the turkey BBQ, and they give you enough for supper and for lunch the next day!!

Had the brisket sandwich and side of coleslaw. Coleslaw was warm and had turned, like it hadn't seen a refrigerator in a day. The brisket sandwich also seemed old, bread was tough, the brisket was dry and had a bit of fat in it. Very little barbecue sauce in the sandwich. Sandwich looked like it was slammed together. If the brisket was smoked the flavor left it a long time ago. Have had the extremely dry turkey sandwiches here in the past as well. Don't think this place can get better, and reading the other negative reviews I will pass this place by.

I have had a lot of delicious grill meats from bar-b-que joints with locations far and wide. Unfortunately, Adams Roadside fell well below a passing grade concerning taste, portions, service attentiveness, and getting your dollar's worth. No thanks...I'll be driving right by next time through these parts.

So thankful we stopped at this gem of a place on our way home out of state! The pulled pork and the hot vinegar sauce sandwich was perfection! We also had Brunswick stew and collards as sides that were perfect portions and delicious! The stew had a kick to it making it super flavorful! We really enjoyed the smoked turkey, but the star of the show was the brisket mac and cheese! It was a heavenly experience! The owner was so friendly and knows how to make you feel right at home! If you enjoy good bbq do yourself a favor and give it a try! You will not be disappointed! 10 out of 10 would eat again!

We stopped in on 3/4/2022 a Friday about 1:45 pm. We ordered both the special which was Brisket and Mac&Cheese with Tea and the TriplePlay that consisted of Double Ribs and Pulled Pork. $33 no receipt given paid cash! This is a honest review from someone that not only loves any smoked meats but has worked in the private sector as a chef and assistant as well as restaurant manager.I'll start with the customer service. We called in our order. When I arrived and approached the counter the lady once I gave her my name repeated back my order. She did not mention the tea that came with the special. This in and of itself was not a problem. However once I brought this to her attention she said "no" none of our items come with a drink. I said well I heard my wife just call in the order 15 minutes ago and she repeated the order which indicated a Tea came with the order. I even stated "are you sure" she again insisted infactically "No"! Then after us both literally arguing over a tea someone from the back let her know in fact a tea came with the special. She more than once let me know a tea was $2. Ridiculous to argue with a customer especially when you are wrong. I'll make the review of the food short. The Brisket was good. The ribs washed out very little flavor. The pulled pork "please see picture "which was 75% of the meats was absolutely inedible and should not of been served. The pulled pork was tough to chewy and bland. Very little sauce. But they will sell you some?? 50 cent? For a $25 plate? We spent $33! Money not a problem. Quality of food most definitely off. And the argument was totally uncalled for.

The bbq plates are always amazing! The mac and cheese and green beans & boiled potatoes are soooo good too! Seasoned very well, 10/10 recommend?

My combo plate with the Brisket(Top Notch) and pulled pork(slightly dry) is what saved this review from being a 1 Star rating. The smoked turkey was inedible and so overcooked it basically crumbled apart . The baked beans and Cole slaw were very good though! The Mac and Cheese was ok but lacking flavor & was cold. We've wanted to try Adam's for a while now and we're pretty disappointed with today's meal.

Had a friend bring this delicious brisket with her to me in Virginia. Next trip to NC my first stop will be Adam's. Had the bbq also which was just as good.
