Only gave a one star because I had to, to post this review. This is a seat yourself restaurant. Waited over 20 minutes with no service, not even a menu. After staff walked by us several times. This would have been our first time eating at this restaurant after it came highly recommended. Will not try again!
We were looking for a good local restaurant in Gastonia. Good hearty meal with good service and tasty food.
This was me and my wife first visit here and I must say I had a great experience. From service, to the quickness in food, the prices are reasonable and affordable plus food you get a great serving. I must say it’s definitely family oriented. Would love to bring my family next time .
The best food and selection in Gastonia that I have had ever. Service was great.. Management even came to greet us & make sure we was Satisfied with everything and our food was what we expected. I Definitely recommend taking the family to have Dinner here.
Haley was my waitress very pleased with her compassion to help someone with the menu and suggest some great dishes. The place was clean and I got my dinner in a decent time. Prices were decent also.
Fabulous experience. Service was fast and friendly. I was in a group of about 25 coming from a funeral. We had arrived a little bit early, but that didn't stop them from being ready for us! Outside of the wonderful service, the food was DELICIOUS. Mind you, the majority of us might be a little picky when it comes to Italian food- no one makes sauce quite like Gramma. Due to the Italian heritage running through our group, Venecia likely welcomed some of the toughest unofficial critics. Let me tell you, I don't think I heard a single complaint throughout our group. From the pasta sauce to the stromboli, everyone left more than satisfied. Will definitely be stopping by again next time I'm in the area.
All around a fantastic experience!We have severe allergies and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were safe. The waitress did her absolute best and was on her best game! Even after an admittedly busy day, she was very attentive, never letting our glasses empty. The building was clean and tables were placed far enough apart that we didn't feel cramped.
I used to love this place! Until my order was wrong, and when I asked for what I actually ordered, i was screamed at by the owner. Told he had no proof i wasn't lying, although the receipt showed I was correct. I left with the wrong food and out of forty dollars. Do not recommend. I have never dealt with an owner of any establishment screaming and belittling a customer like that. Never again.
Food was very good - huge portions at reasonable prices. Waitress with blood donor T-shirt was friendly and very professional. Place was so busy at noon with take out and dine in that she could have used some help.
Venecia did a wonderful job of handling a large party of about 14 people. Food came out hot and drinks were rarely empty. Highly recommend calling ahead to give them proper time if you have a large party.
