All I can say is Substation 2 has the best subs on the planet. Add in the winning attitude of the crew, and you have a very successful restaurant. when I tried Substation 2 ten years ago, I realized they weren't a copy cat Sub shop. The number 19 with the works, no mustard is the best sandwich on the planet. Chasity Metz is the kindest, most cheerful sandwich maker ever. She can turn my bad day into a great day just by her positive attitude. I am not trying to get coupons or any free food, I just wanted to let you all know, you have a winning team with Chasity as team leader. I want to make sure she we gets the credit she deserves because most young people these days barely do the minimum requirements for the job. She exceeds that by a long shot. You better hold onto her.

THE AMAZING SENSE OF TASTE INTO THAT 1ST BITE of theyre Italian sub invigorates my senses and my stomach automatically begins to growl when l think about which flavor Doritos do l want to put on my Italian sub cool ranch or nacho cheese ? Tosted dripping cheese but ?or not toasted....?

Sub Station Gastonia location used to be our favorite go to sub spot in Gaston County, but recently it has gone extremely downhill. I’m not sure if they switched management or what. First, the get rid of the Sundrop/Cherrywine machine, got rid of pickle chips, and increased the prices of the daily special. What’s the point of a special if it’s the same price as a regular meal? Not only that, but every time we go they are closed. I understand that everywhere is short staffed, but they are closed multiple days a week and should have a more public, consistent schedule like Monday-Thursday or something to give their staff a break on the weekends. We will be going to the Belmont location from now on!

My sandwich was good, it was definitely smaller than expected- I shouldn't have gotten the lunch special. I have never been to this location, I usually go to the one on US 70 in Hickory, and those subs are huge. But the taste was very good. And excellent service as well.
