Salsaritas was always my go too. Most of the time great customer service. Ive definitely quit coming as much and this is why. I spend almost 27.00 everytime my queso is orange queso is white and you ask for some salsa not a refund and you get a crazy look. Weve been over charged and nothing done about it. And this is the second time ive received burnt queso so Chipotle it is because this place has went down hill bad. I never write a review until i receive a couple of bad experiences....
Ate here for dinner May 5 between 7 and 8pm. Waited in the long line for about 30 minutes before getting to order, which is fine I understand they were short staffed. Once we made it to the front to order there was one girl starting and finishing everyone’s orders AND she was having to cook shrimp on the stove behind her. She was already busy and clearly had her hands full but another worker, a girl who appeared to act like she was in charge of everything, kept demanding that she start on this to go order and put a trash bag in the trash can, but wasn’t helping with anything other than bagging to go orders answering the phone maybe twice and demanding things from others. For instance, I ordered shrimp tacos but the shrimp wasn’t ready yet. She said it would only be another minute or 2. Once it finished she poured the shrimp into the container on the bar and began to put some on my tacos when the demanding girl shouted that she needed to put some shrimp on this other to go order, that came in way after us by the way, because he had been waiting FOREVER. It was really starting to bother me how demanding that little girl was and I understand being short handed with many tasks to do and customers to feed can become stressful, but if she was the manager or lead on duty whoever is above her should reconsider because all of those employees were doing the best they could and moving as quickly as possible. My husband who was also with me getting dinner last night is a general manager for a express car wash in Charlotte NC and has been in management for 4 years. He said it was clear she couldn’t compose herself and shouldn’t be in charge. He also mentioned anyone who cracks like that under stress isn’t built for a leading position because that is who the other employees lean on but yet she was leaning on them to do everything. She didn’t have a name tag so I’m not sure of her name, but I could point her out in person. Food was yummy and we will eat there again, but I can’t promise that next time we eat here and she’s being hateful to her staff again that I won’t call her out on it.
We ate dinner here tonight. We arrived at 8:45, and the store closed at 9. They were out of multiple items which wasn’t a huge deal, but the quality was awful. My steak was closer to beef jerky. The staff was exceedingly rude and loudly complained about “these people coming in when they know we closing.” Terrible food, rude service. 0/5 stars. Do not recommend.
The food is fresh and the service is A+The establishment is clean as well. My favorite thing to eat here are the nachos with extra protein chicken and steak. Overall my favorite lunch spot!
A bit pricey and the chips were stale leaving an unsatisfying crackle that I so enjoy. Other than that food was pretty good. Tell me why the dude who added the chipotle ranch missed my burrito though? Then he blasted it all over my burrito resulting in chipotle ranch on the outside of the burrito. I’m gonna have chipotle ranch on my hands for weeks!
Very small portions of meat that wasn't drained well and guacamole that wasn't even a half of a scoop right in the middle of the taco(not spread out). Flavor was good, but temperature was luke warm. Lady taking the order was polite and friendly however cashier was downright rude. Took survey online and replied YES to wanting to be contacted about experience, but never heard from them.
Staff was nice and friendly. But the food quality was very poor, lettuce looked very wilty and my wife's salad had super brown guacamole that was bad. Rice was really overcooked too. Overall my burrito was pretty flavorless.
Guacamole was tasteless. It was more brown than green in appearance, telling me that it wasn't fresh as advertised. The tacos were just ok. The Pico was very watery, which left the hard taco shells soggy at best. Lesson learned...if I want Mexican food, I'll go to a real Mexican restaurant.
Y’all have taken away the drive-thru and only allow mobile orders to use it. My job is driving around all day. All I wanted was chips and a drink. And I can’t even order it in the drive through. You have to go inside instead. I barely have enough time to swing through a drive-thru for some chips and a drink. Going inside gets my behind at work. Also, the last time I had tacos from here, it was at 11-11:30 AM. I ordered the chicken tacos. The only chicken they had was bottom of the barrel scrapings apparently. That shouldn’t have even been served. I’ll stick to the one in Denver if I’m there. But if I’m in Gastonia, I’m not coming here anymore. I’ll find somewhere else to go.
Absolutely loved this place. Was a regular drive thru customer couple times a week. Can no longer use drive thru to order, only pick up. Not interested in downloading an app or otherwise being tracked in exchange for simply ordering food. Not having it. Gonna miss the food. Hurts saying it but so long Salsarita.
