The menu, the flavors, the appetizers, the desserts, the salads are simply delicious. The taste of the sauces are rich and very Italian. The ingredients are fresh. The gelattos are very creamy and delicious. I will definitely come back.

Went here last night with a party of 8. The restaurant was definitely packed, but that kinda made it even more fun. The waiter/manager(?) Was immediately at our table to get our drink order. (Love that!!!) He suggested the white sangria and it did not disappoint! My husband and I started with the bruschetta appetizer (which by the way is exactly the same as the bruschetta flat bread pizza). All 8 of us ordered different main meals and loved them. I had the gnocchi carbonara with bacon and prosciutto...Yum Yum Yum!! Will definitely go back!!

I honestly wasn't fond of the food here. I can honestly say I'd rather come for dessert here. The tiramisu was really good and well-balanced.I had the Gnocchi pasta but wasn't impressed with how salty it was.My husband had the Philadelphia panini and it was bland not much taste to it.The salad dressing they make in-house is perfect, I enjoyed how it dressed up the salad. Our waiter was very nice and so courteous to any questions we had.Mind you I'm not a picky eater.

My husband and I were visiting our family in Mt. Holly for a week for our nieces birthday. We got to have a date night which we don’t get often having a 17 month old. I decided I wanted to go to a true Italian restaurant and started looking them up. This restaurant stuck out and we ultimately chose it.. and thank goodness we did. This was honestly some of the most delicious Italian food we have ever had. Gnocchi are my favorite and let me tell you they did not disappoint. I got the gnocchi carbonara and he got the lobster ravioli. We also got the potato rosmarion as an appetizer. Everything was amazing. The atmosphere was personal and intimate. They had a woman doing live acoustic guitar during our dining. The owner was hands on and greeted every guest that walked through his door with a genuine smile. He came up to our table to talk with us and make sure everything was to our liking. We told him we were from out of town and 10 minutes later he was back at our table with a delicious desert on the house. Both my husband and I would 1000/10 recommend. We already can’t wait to go back down next year just to eat here again. You will not be disappointed!

Wow. Just wow. So thrilled to have this gem here in Gastonia. AUTHENTIC. Being from up north in a predominantly Italian community it was so great to have this authentic food again. The owner was very friendly and will come up and talk to you about how you’re food is and make sure everything is good. I’ll definitely be a regular now.

Service was amazing but the food was not. I ordered the chicken rigatoni alfredo. The alfredo sauce was very bland to me. The manager offered to make me something else which was against my better judgment. He said the lasagna would come out quickly and would be an amazing choice ??. The plate was not appealing at all. Once again against better judgment I tried it. The red sauce had so much salt I would have rather eaten the bland alfredo. Pictured is the "deconstructed lasagna" I received. All I did was slide it off my plate and into this to go container.

Shorter review as this is based on takeout only.Ok, Gastonia, I see you over there. No lie, probably some of the best Italian that I’ve ever had in my *mumbles* years of life. I think this is only rivaled by places in NYC that I went to as a kid. Whoever assisted me with the pickup order was really nice and had the loveliest Italian accent. My friend and I split takeout and we got the Gnocchi Siciliano and Tiramisu. I’m not exaggerating when I say I almost cried it was so good. The gnocchi was just….perfect. The sauce was super flavorful. You can tell this was all homemade. Same with the Tiramisu….I think it’s the best one I’ve ever had. My friend echoed all the same sentiments.Between this place and Webb, Gastonia has some fab options to choose from. Sadly, I live in Uptown Charlotte and don’t drive so getting there is challenging but for the rest of you….go HERE for AMAZING Italian food!

Best place to eat original ?? Italian food.Excellent service and the owner greets customers. Male server gave us excellent customer service.

Excellent authentic Italian food. Not only is the food very good, the atmosphere is very NJ/NYC. What I mean is proper customer service and a genuine passion for quality food. There needs to be more restaurants/cafes in Gastonia that offer niche experiences like this one. There are many different people that live in Gastonia. We young professionals needs spaces like this to take this city to the next level. It feels good to know I don’t have to go Charlotte to get exceptional Italian fare. Bravo Chef and staff.

Amazing find!!! Authentic Italian food nestled in middle of downtown Gastonia. We came on a busy Saturday night and still had prompt and quick service. The owner was very attentive and made sure we were enjoying our dinner. My wife has been to Italy and said the food was comparable, if not better then some of her meals there. Definitely add this to your date night list, as you will not be disappointed.
