Great food. Always great food. I order the lettuce wraps,dumplings, Franklin roll and my friends always get many other rolls of sushi the food is always great the service is good but I think they are missing a bus boy, we usually wait for a table when their are tons of tables dirty and waiting to be cleaned (if you are a server you know this is the number one way to keep loosing money) I’ve clean my own section at tons of places to keep my rotation… and I really hate that bc I absolutely love this place and I do not know how they do things but the dinning room definitely needs attention. On Other occasions, when you want a booth and the restaurant is empty you give your customers (most important customer bc they are currently spending money) a booth!! Don’t say well you don’t have 6ppl ….honestly the whole restaurant was bare atm but that is all!!! I continue to come regularly and I hope you can hire a bus boy lol I know these times I hope you find one !!
There was a sign at the front that they were understaffed and please be patient. Okay, we weren't in a hurry. We waited a bit to be seated. The food was good. My daughter and I ordered red curry and customized the amount of heat. My husband customized a veggie dish by adding chicken and more heat. My son-in-law ordered drunken noodles and customized increased the heat as well. We were all pleased with our dishes and how spicy they were. Service was adequate, but we didn't need a lot anyway, since we were catching up. We had a good experience.
Always excellent food. They are short staffed so have a little patience. Our waitress Skylar was very attentive and sweet. Was there with my Dad..Recommend it to everyone
This place is phenomenal. It's my 3rd visit (take out only for myself) and it is always a pleasant surprise. The staff is always so great and welcoming especially for those who are not familiar with this style of food because it can be intimidating ordering sushi if you can't see it first or one of the many fusion platters, but they are very helpful in this way. I try something different each time and every time I have been beyond satisfied with my choices. I must say the bulgolgi with white rice is excellent and the Miami roll is something I could eat daily. The ramen is great too. I lived in south Korea for a year and fell in love with bulgolgi and it's the best I've personally had state side. I couldn't speak higher of this place. If you're curious or in the mood for asian fusion I suggest you give this place a try.
Driving up to this place you will not be impressed. But once inside the place is clean, the servers are polite, the music nice (cool jazz) and the menu is broad, lots to choose from. I had the mongolian beef and it was the best MB I think I have ever had and Ive had it in many cities arross the country. The only downside is the ambiance is lacking. Its not a date night place. Regardless, all good.
I was told this was the best sushi place in Gastonia and $58 dollars later and could not be more preoccupied for the definition of the word Best ?. I ordered 5 different types of sushi rolls and I skipped lunch to save room for the sushi so I ate them anyways. The flavor was fresh but I am still trying to remember what they had. When a meal is great and memorable, you will remember every detail about it. The service was great although there was a “weed” smell around our table and coincidentally was stronger when our server came to our table. That was very uncomfortable. I saw other dishes served at other tables and they looked amazing. I might give it another try with something else but sushi no more. Price is reasonable, place was clean, staff was very nice. Oh and the tempura was not the best ?. I will continue to make my own sushi at home.
I specifically asked the waitress if the egg rolls or spring rolls had meat she stated they did not. Got all the way home and they do. Of course they didn’t answer the phone. Will never eat here again.
This place does not even deserve one star. Nasty and disgusting staff. Placed an order they didn’t give me a roll I ordered and they kept insisting they did instead of just apologizing and giving it to me the following time. Had me on the phone for like a half hour arguing leading a full deep investigation as to my roll and what happened. Kept repeating its in the bag when it wasn’t. To think a place like this with horrible customer service and arguing has great reviews is absurd. I put places like this on notice. Do not go here my advice. There are plenty of other sushi joints with friendly, polite and great customer service. They made a huge drama over one sushi roll and that’s just horrible.
Went for the first time today. We ordered the Firebird Roll, Dynamite Shrimp and Tempura shrimp & veggies to start. They were all good, nothing outstanding that we would rush back for. Then we got the Mongolian Delight and Shrimp with Candied Walnuts. Again everything was good, not exceptional. The Mongolian Delight was our favorite of the things we ordered. Had the most flavor. Service was good. Won't rush back. To us there are better places for this type of food in the area.
