I came here for lunch, was promptly seated by the nice lady at the front. It wasn't extremely busy. I proceeded to wait 45 minutes without any recognition/interaction from any other employee. I was just sat at a table given a menu to stare at, seated across from what I'm assuming was a table the managers were using. Before I finally had to leave and return to work there were MAYBE 4 tables being waited. I'm very disappointed in this experience, more so disappointed that I was immediately sat at a table then left alone for 45 minutes with not even a glass of water or simple "Hey, I'll be with you shortly".
Had a bit of a wait to get seated, but it was on a Sunday night and someone had a birthday party before I arrived. Staff was fantastic, cannot praise Gastonia location's Hooters girls enough.Food was made exactly to order. I'd say my only downside was they have very little selection of beer available at the time. First time that's happened though, will visit again.
One of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. We waited 10 minutes at the door for a hostess to tell us there would be a 30 minute wait. 45 minutes later still no call, so we head back in and wait another 15 minutes for a hostess to come to her station again. I stood at the door where I could be seen by every server working and was ignored. Finally seated and then waited some more for our server. Got the order in and then watched as the male cook ignored the kitchen for his phone and to chat with the servers while the female who was obviously struggling tended to the orders. We waited about another 35 minutes for our food. When we got the food our burgers were overcooked and missing items belonging inside. The server didn't bother to check on us until after we were about done even though she walked by several times. I've seen restaurants do a far better job with half the staff and twice the amount of customers. They were not busy. I don't expect a 5 star restaurant going to Hooters, but this was really sad. I won't be back.
nice atmosphere, great service, great staff. would be going back again soon.
The food is great and if you have a birthday they sing to you which made my day
Don’t typically leave reviews but my husband insisted that I do this. We visited this hooters this past weekend and when we arrived there were only 4 other tables occupied. We were seated quickly and drinks were served, appetizers were ordered…that’s when things went down hill. More tables arrived and tended to while we sat and watched. 45 mins later our order was taken… not to mention some of the table had refilled their own drinks. No appetizers yet either. Finally some appetizers came out but not everyone’s. We did watch other tables around us that came in later receive food. After 1 and 1/2 hours of sitting there with 2 impatient kids we still had no food. Almost 2 hours in we received our (COLD) food well half of our families order but the other couple did not receive theirs. They finally said to cancel their order because we had somewhere to be. We had a very bad experience at this location and I would not recommend going. We ran into the people sitting behind us later and they informed us that when they received their wings one guy bit into his and it was raw inside FYI.
Love this place. Great service and food every time. Sydney is the manager and she is the best. Definitely doesn’t get paid enough for how well she handles the kitchen AND the floor. Cassidy is so funny and great entertainment. Go see her and tip her well y’all. Will definitely be back soon.
Comfortable location, wings were good but took a bit longer than usual and were not huge like in other places.
The food and people here are the greatest. And its a fun place. Everything combined makes it the best sports bar around. And polite pretty ladies. I can't understand how anyone could give this place a bad rating. All these people have treated me nicely. Brook, Nikki, Meagan, Payton, Hanna, all of them polite and friendly.
