Pretty good and fast service for our large group! They let us reserve the "surfboard" table in advance which was great! Food was yummy and we had a great time!
My husband and I used to frequent this place as it's one of the only bars on this side of town. Due to staffing shortages, I have adjusted my standards to be more understanding. Whenever I go here its typically for drinks and a burger as previous experience has shown that anything outside of that is hit or miss.After a few bad experiences there I even went so far as to just order to go. But this last time my husband wanted to dine in so we could get some drinks and unwind. Unfortunately, the last time we went I told husband I will never go back.We went on a Saturday night so I expected there to be a wait. We asked how long, the hostess said about 30 minutes. After initially waiting an hour with no update, we decided to go in and check. We were told it would be another 15 minutes. So we waited. The hostess finally called us up and seated us at a small table right behind the hostess desk. There was a beer bottle sitting on our table because there was a group seated at the table RIGHT NEXT to where she was placing us. We were almost literally going to be touching elbows with the other table they were so close. Meanwhile the ENTIRE left side (where the booths are directly across from where we were) and the back left side, near the bathrooms was COMPLETELY EMPTY. Nearly half the restaurant was empty tables and they had people waiting. My husband told the waitress we didn't want to sit there and gestured to the all the empty tables. The hostess stated: "we have a new girl and shes not ready."I told my husband let's just go. We left and went to wild wing cafe and we were seated immediately although they were busier.
Prices have gone absolutely insane. $30 steak, one side. $20 chicken tenders. Haha what! And most of the employees here are really super awful. Response to owner: More information on your massively inflated prices? Um. I think you have all the information. They're massively inflated, lessen them. (Of course I know you just want to look good with a response to a bad review without saying anything useful. Didn't work.)
The food was delicious!!! I ordered the starter parmesan oysters"baked"(recommendation: I would ask for them to be cooked a little more) and the Captain Burger was the best. The captain burger offered sweetness, zest, goat cheese, and was well seasoned. I would definitely recommend this choice.
The environment was very acceptable and staff was friendly. The food and drinks were good. If there was a negative or complaint, it would be about sitting guests so close together, especially during what is still COVID restrictions. Other than that, it was a good dining experience.
They were very friendly but were out of a lot! We went for a Valentine's Night out and it was a bit disheartening. Our server was fantastic and felt so bad she had to keep coming back and telling us they were out of so much. Very cozy place though! Food was great!

More details below.Food Quality: The food here has been great and I haven't had anything I didn't like so far. I've had burgers, salads, chicken, and a few other items and they all were pretty good.Pricing: They are definitely a little steeper on prices. It'll set you back about $15 for food and a drink before even considering an alcoholic beverage.Atmosphere: What they lack in pricing is somewhat made up for by their atmosphere. It's definitely cozier than most competition in the area and definitely has a good "vibe" per say. I understand that they have weekly events on different nights but I have not been around enough to learn the ins and outs.Service: Pretty reasonable and on par with the scene. The waiters and waitresses I've had have all been decent so far. Food also comes in a decent amount of time.Overall, pretty cool place. It's local popularity is well deserved and I think the only thing that I would change is to place more competitive pricing.
Came in an hour and a half before AFC championship game. Jemilah(?) was it waitress. Super friendly from the start. Always smiling. Offered many options to use instead of assuming, such as ranch or ketchup etc. service was amazing. Food was awesome too. Great waitress
