It was our first time dining here, we didn't know what to expect. We were surprised how big it is inside. They have a lot to choose from on the menu. We choose a chicken skillet withe peppers & onions and smashed potatoes and added shrimp to it. We would get it next time without the shrimp. It had a lot of flavor. We will go back and try some of the other things on the menu.
First time visiting. We loved it! No wait for dinner, pleasant ambiance, reasonably priced, good service, wide selection of American fare, great food! Will be heading back soon! The French onion soup was so good!
Emma was the best! She ran the show by herself and we were very attended to! Food was delicious! Definitely try the cheese steak egg rolls! Oh MY!
Great Food, extremely slow service!! Went here yesterday with two friends. We were probably the third table inside and I believe there was 1 table outside occupied . The gal who was our waitress was extremely sweet, but appeared to be the only one working. After we "finally" placed our order (partially our fault, because we told the girl we had another person coming) the other tables had cleared. Our friend sent us a message and showed her GPS that she was 40 minutes away, but would still stop by to say hi. We did not get our lunch until right before our friend got there! None of us had a special order. We ordered a fish sandwich with potato chips, potato skins, a house salad, and the bang bang shrimp. The potato skins were huge, my friend got four on a plate and they were loaded with cheese and chives and came with a side of sour cream, they looked delicious! I had the fish sandwich with homemade chips, and to me it was the best fish sandwich!! The house salad looked okay, but it was in a really weird bowl that's lower in the front and higher in the back and when my friend went to cut her croutons the bowl fell forward, she ended up dumping her salad on the plate the bowl came on. She never mentioned how the shrimp were, but to me they looked strange because they had melted cheese on them? My favorite bang bang/boom boom shrimp are at the String Bean in Belmont! All in all I would eat the fish sandwich here again, but never if I were in a rush!
Ordered the fish tacos. Got home and the fish was still translucent (undercooked). I had to cook the fish at home in order to eat my tacos. The French onion soup is good though.
My 1st visit was on Sunday around 1 pm. There weren't very many patrons but it took a while to get my beef and mushroom. Soup. It wasn't anything special - just stewed meat with some mushrooms. Not bad, but not great, either. I ordered chicken in a skillet without the cheese sauce. When it finally came, it was covered in the sauce. It took forever for them to remake it. The waitress offered to take some off my bill. I said it wasn't necessary but she insisted. However, when I got my bill she had not taken anything off. I did tell her not to worry so I'm ok with it and was going to tip her the difference since it wasn't her fault so I guess she lost out on that one. I sat and waited on my drink - sweet tea - to be refilled numerous times. The food was mediocre. The food was pretty expensive to be average. Not really that impressed with the place.
Thus was great to go enjoy a meal with my family. I'm glad I found this amazing little restaurant. Katie is beyond patient and so helpful. The food we ate was really good just a minor setback with the flavor of the wings. The sauce could've been slightly better and the spiciness at a higher level. But I definitely won't complain about my food it was perfect all the way. I loved the flavor of ny buttery nipple as well.
Just went there for lunch and the bartender was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious! Got the French onion soup and the French dip! Can’t wait to go back!!
The food is great, I recommend the Mac n cheese… so creamy! I gave 3 stars because of the service. The first time we came, the service was spectacular! Our waitress checked on us all the time: re-filling our drinks, asked if we needed more condiments, etc.. Our second time, the waitress was in another world. Actually we had 3 waitresses doing our table, and all 3 were in another world. We asked for water and sweet tea and waiting 10 mins for them. The food came on time, but waited another 10 mins for silverware. She asked if she could fill up our drinks, she had to come by multiple times to make sure what drinks we had (water and sweet tea). Sadly, we didn’t get any refill until we got the bill. I hate to complain, but our main waitress was not there. Service was not there.
Great food , and service
