We live quite a distance from the restaurant. Still drive thru only. Was a huge disappointment and if we had ordered food would have been quite cold by the time we returned home. It's been two years since we had visited last, and it would have been great for Holy Thursday. Waste of time and fuel to get there and not able to dine.
Been to Captain D's thousands of times. Always been great service till this evening. The person figured it was easier to lie than to reach for something so they just lied knowing they did after filling my bag. Next time will hold up the line to conduct inventory. But got to explain my frustration by driving back talking about it a few minutes in the drive thru window. Then was told only one little tartar sauce per meal.. If that's the case, my thousands of times going there in past several years goes to zero.. that's ridiculous.. greed is never ever good businesses model.
The food is Always Hot and Fresh. The mid -aged woman was rude at the window but let’s just hope she was having a moment and that’s not her normal ATTITUDE because Smiling and Being Nicer would have Gotten my 5 Star Rating
The women at the drive thru this evening was absolutely rude. When I got to the drive thru window she was cursing because someone drove off and forgot their food that went on for like 2 minutes before opening the window to take my money. She then didn't say one word and snatched my card out of my hand. Then I asked for vinegar and she said next time you could of asked at the speaker. What!!! Worse customer service ever!
I think it’s pretty sad that you can’t get too tiny tartar sauces with your fish not everybody eats one instead when you buy one page you have to buy a larger tartar sauce just to accommodate what you’re used to eating
Can't resist this fish. A big plate of food for a still reasonable price. Thank you Captain D's. The lady cashier working the window, Carolyn was pleasant as well!!
He took time to ask my grandmother and I if we would like our waters refilled and told us if we had any questions please feel free to ask him.
Tonight I bought the catfish special and I was very polite with the workers so I do not understand why someone would bite into one of my hush puppies and serve it to me. I live on the other side of town and I did not open my box to check until I parked my car at my driveway. And I was the only one in my car so I hope none of your workers tainted my food. Very unacceptable! And to the potential customers reading this I advise you all to check your food before you leave. I have anxiety so I felt pressured to drive off to not keep the people behind me waiting.
First issue, the grill wasn't working, so I couldn't get the grilled shrimp plate that normally is very good. Then, they left out one of my 2 sides (okra) and the other side (broccoli) was cold. My husband's green beans were in a container that the lid wasn't closed well and leaked juice all into the food bag and onto my car's interior. Only thing that can be said positive is that the fish was good. Hope it's better next time.
Food was delicious! I got 4 piece fried flounder because at other restaurants 3 pieces would leave me wanting more. I had lots of tatar sauce. However! I came home with 2 pieces leftover and 2 hushpuppies and some French fries!!!
