We decided to eat here because we love Korean food and it had good reviews! It did not disappoint! The waitresses were so friendly, the food was delicious! They even offered a free dessert to my one year old, which he loved. I’m sad we won’t be able to come back to this restaurant since we live in Florida. We have a great Korean restaurant in town but Booja has better prices!10/10 definitely recommend!

I can’t believe I have never left this place a review. I can’t say enough good things. I have been coming for over a year now and every time, everything is so delicious. I also can’t think of one time where we had to wait any longer than 20 minutes for our food to come out. Sushi is BOMB. Try the dragon egg! If you aren’t too sure what to try your first time, try the bulgolgi, it is delicious and comes with Korean side dishes which are always awesome as well! I also love the bulgolgi soup, idk the exact name, but it could feed you and 5 other people. Anything and everything is delicious and you have to come try this place. They are short staff, but they make it work and I love this place!!

My husband and I ate here one night and fell in love with the food. It was AMAZING!! We then went back the following week and took our kids who loved it also. The Korean spicy chicken is my go to dish, it is so good. The sushi, esp the jj roll great. You can't go wrong with anything here. We have made this an almost weekly stop. Our waitress Q, the best!! Can't wait to go back

Absolutely love coming here. They always bring out the delicious Korean side dishes before our meal. The japchae and bulgogi are delicious every time we’ve come (probably like 4 times in the last month). Highly recommend it!

Booja is a culinary experience that makes you feel like you’re not in Gastonia. We had the steamed pork dumplings as an app for $5, shared a plate of bulgogi (sweet beef) for $17 with 8 little side dishes that you can have refilled for no extra cost, and enjoyed a small cold sake for $5 and strawberry boba tea for $5. With tip we had a nice meal for about $40. The staff here is so nice and the atmosphere is so calming. All the food is super fresh. Plenty of parking and seating. We’ll absolutely go back. This is a gem!

As someone who grew up with a Korean grandmother, I was spoiled with outstanding Korean dishes such as Bulgogi and Bibimbop. Booja successfully returns a piece of my childhood back with every bite you take. As early as pulling into the parking lot, you get a sense that you've arrived somewhere special. Upon walking inside, you're immediately struck by how clean and detail oriented Booja is. The kitchen is in plain view of the dining area, so you get to watch the head chef prepare sushi as you dine! Exemplary staff, outstanding food, and very well priced. Overall, it's a flawless dining experience.

My husband and I ate supper here tonight and it was fantastic. The food was DELICIOUS and our waitress was FANTASTIC!! The spicy chicken and The JJ sushi roll was out of this world good. The soup my husband had was great also.... We will definitely be back.

I love going here with my friends and family! There's an amazing selection of food and great prices. I prefer eating here over other popular spots in Charlotte. There really is something for everyone there, sushi, hot pot, bentos, BBQ and other dishes. The hot pots are pretty big, I would definitely recommend most of them for up to 4 people. The staff is always very attentive and friendly.

Service was quick and friendly. The kimchi pancake was thicker than what i had in Seoul- but tasty. The rest of the meal have some flavor but the soup was really bland and had no taste. 4 stars because of the service being amazing.

Meh. We did take out beef & chicken hibachi, plus four sushi rolls (about a $73 total check). This is a photo of the hibachi. That's about three ounces each of chicken and three of "beef", barely seasoned, and on top of a whole onion it seemed like. For $18.99!! It should have cost $8.99 honestly, and it was not good. The sushi was decent but definitely on the lower end of decent. I reached out to the restaurant about the size and quality of the hibachi and they saw the message, but never even responded. Odd. Either way, maybe it was just mediocre because it was take out...but we still paid full price + tip, so it should be the same as dining in. I would skip it.
