I’ve been to various locations of Bad Daddy’s a couple of times, and my experience has been different at each one. This was my first time coming to the Gastonia location. The service was great. We were a group of 8 so I know that complicated things but everything came out quickly and without any mistakes. I had forgotten how good their burgers are. My mouth truly did water. I’m glad to see that the success of the East Blvd location has been able to spread across the region.
I give them a 5 because of my wife, I give them a 4 because of me. So, technically I guess I give them a 4.5.\\n\\nThe only difference is that my wife loved everything about the place, and the food. She absolutely loved it. I on the other hand, had a little bit of issues with them. I ordered a burger, after looking at the menu and reading the condiments that were on the burger. Nowhere did the menu mention \\\"mayonnaise\\\" was added to the burger.\\n\\nSo, when our food arrived, I bit into the burger and it was almost delicious. Except for the \\\"Mayonnaise!\\\" Now I have never cared for \\\"mayonnaise\\\" at anytime in my life. I've always looked for it on anything I order, and steer clear of it, or ask for it to be left off.\\n\\nI mentioned this to our server and she was very apologetic as it was not mentioned on the menu, and immediately brought me a second burger double-quick. It was awesome! I do recommend this place, but be sure to confirm what you are actually getting on your burger.
Oh my goodness. A perfect combination of great food, great service and great atmosphere. They have on the menu salads you can build yourself. Large and full of flavor. I had the Buffalo Chicken sandwich and it was an erosion of flavor. They also had Burgers that looked delicious as well as other wonderful dishes. A must visit
Friendly and quick service...
This was our first visit to this establishment. We notified our server, Madison, of that fact and asked for recommendations. We ordered two of the items she recommended. When asked what our SIDE ITEM choices were, she plainly stated (and pointed to the menu) that we could choose from anything on the list \\\"from the Truffle fries, and down\\\". So my husband ordered the small order of onion rings, because she said that was the size option for a \\\"side\\\" and I ordered the truffle fries. Food was delicious. Service was attentive. That's why I gave 2*s. When our bill was delivered, we were charged $6 for the fries, and $4.50 for the 4 onion rings!! When we questioned her, she stated that any of \\\"those items\\\" were an up-charge! She plainly did NOT say that to us. Another server came over to our table, when we asked for the manager, and pointed to the microscopic fine print, on the bottom of the opposite page, that gives a few options which would not incur the additional charge. We would have been happy with any of them, especially the sweet potato fries! She's said there was nothing that was going to be done about the bill, since \\\"it's in black and white on the menu\\\". Not the way to do business. We left zero gratuity, when we usually leave 20+%, with the hopes that she will think about what she did. Food is not the only thing that keeps people coming back, my friends.
Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar is my absolute favorite burger bar. This was the first time in Gastonia and due to Covid it was not very crowded. Nevertheless the Burger was excellent and I am really looking forward to visit it again during my next trip in this area.

The menu is actually great, creative and extensive with lots of flair ingredients, but the food is very lackluster.\\n\\nMy experience having lunch at the bar was near dismal, the bartender was extremely uninterested in our dining experience, and bordered on plain rude.\\n\\nThe \\\"Philly\\\" that I had was more reminiscent of chipped beef on toast than any sort of cheese steak.\\n\\nYou're better off having a beer at the bar then popping across the street to Five Guys for supper.
I ordered a black bean burger lettuce wrap with tater tots. The tater tots were good, but the black bean burger was disgusting. It looked terrible and tasted awful. I took one bite and put it down. I have had black bean burgers at other places and they had so much taste and looked like they were cooked. This one looked like it was heated up and that's it. Sorry, but I will not be ordering from Bad Daddy's in the future.
