If want traditional authentic Mexican food I highly recommend Agave, not only is the food amazing, the service is top notch! I recommend supporting this small family business and eating local.
Don't go if you are in a hurry but I promise the food is worth the wait. Staff was very friendly and my husband and I got a good little chuckle at the menu. We loved they they called out the fake Mexican food. We will be back

Can I give 10 stars?!Ok so I am about to give away my secret! Our weekend spot is Agave! I have traveled Mexico, Costa Rica, Caribbean Islands. The best ceviche I had was at a local market in Costa Rica. Then we went to Agave and it was like a tasty flashback! They have authentic Mexican food and fake Mexican food. The food is the first great thing the 2nd great thing is the atmosphere, it has that small feel that feels like a tucked away piece of Mexico, the outdoor seating in the summer sun really tops the cake! But the 3rd and final best part is the people. The staff are amazing, top notch! They are attentive, kind, funny and have become our friends. Do yourself a favor and try this gem out, you won't be disappointed!
The service was amazing and very quick service. The guacamole was fresh and delicious. Enjoyed the carnitas and churro dessert. But this is not a California burrito. That is my only but. Haha
I'm a Texan and I have really struggled to find really good authentic food since moving to the area. We have Agave a try and I was not only impressed, but thrilled. This place hits! I went in with my family and all of us really enjoyed the food. My brother loved the tamales. I had a bite and indeed they were great! But the barbacoa was fantastic and the tripas were just like I was back home. My sister lives me mango margarita with a tamarind rim. The staff was very friendly. The owner/manager really made it feel like home and the service was excellent. Try it. You can thank me later.

Excellent waitress who made recommendations. Food was very, very good! Only negative was a couple of really loud people at the bar with the loud music. We will definitely be back - soon.

I love this place so much me and my sister go all the time the staff is amazing the food is great and the atmosphere is always positive no matter if it's busy or slow. They make sure they take care of you and if you are a regular customer they already know what you like to order in the sauces that come with your food definitely highly recommend this place to bring your family and friends
