Normally the food is great. When we ordered yesterday, the breasts were under cooked and were under seasoned along with the fries. First not good experience we've had here.

Want some good ole chicken and shrimp with some of the best homemade, well can't top mine ? BBQ sauce and shaved ice and lemonade... Make a trip here, you won't regret it and the staff is cool, fun and respectful..

Smithfield chicken and Bar-B-Q the hushpuppies are really good. Make sure you get them when they are hot Worth the trip.

My family and I visited this place while out of town because they wanted Bar-B-Q and my children and I wanted chicken, so it was a win-win!!! We drove about 15 mins to get to the location from our hotel. The food was hot and seemingly fresh for it to be a place that has a drive-thru. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We ate in and once you order at the front, the food is brought out to you at the table. They were very quick, the chicken was crispy, and the hush puppies and fries were really good too. I would definitely visit again if I were in the area. Thanks guys!!

Hot, hot, hot! Our food was absolutely delicious. Well maintained and clean inside and out. With very nice and friendly employees. Thanks for dinner guys!

The manager picked his nose then put it in his mouth while on break and then proceeded to go behind the work counter without washing his hands and started touching equipment and registers. It was made known to the staff and they tried downplaying the situation by saying “he does this all the time”. The manager did not apologize and said he would work on his but this is unacceptable.

Just like everything else right now restaurant food is just becoming unaffordable. The prices are reaching levels that I can barely afford, even on payday. But if several of my family members chip in we might get a tailgate special for a afternoon lunch every couple of months. The food is good, service is semi-fast, not as fast as it used to be, but I know a lot of food service places are lacking skilled employees. I can only hope that if I am paying more for the food that these employees are making a living wage.

Raise prices and shrink the food. When did the bbq sandwiches become dinner roll size with about 2tbs of bbq? Won't be stopping at SCNB any time soon, if ever again. Poor value for the cost.

First time in one and being fast food they come to your table to fill your drinks bring your food to you. Very friendly and great service.

Smithfield's Chicken n BBQ, Buck Jones Rd location I like BBQ, a lot, but have avoided this chain restaurant due to it's mixed reviews. I ordered the regular BBQ Plate for $9.29, and selected French fries and coleslaw as the 2 sides. You have to REALLY like vinegar to enjoy this BBQ. The meat isn't cooked right to easily pull apart, being drenched in vinegar mades it a soggy lump of meat, and vinegar is the only thing I tasted. No spices. There were a couple of crispy tips with less vinegar that weren't as bad, but at that point I was intent on avoiding feeling imbalmed by way of vinegar. The fries were cooked long enough but needed more salt. Ketsup might have been available, but they don't suggest it. Condiments cost money, and their cost is already calculated into the price of what you order. You leaving without condiments is money in their pocket. I don't like hush puppies but try them, and occasionally am pleasantly surprised. These were okay. Hate to admit it, but my dinner this evening was coleslaw and hush puppies. Other than tasting, the fries and BBQ were tossed.
