I love Hibachi food and have eaten here many times but this week I got violently sick . I was forced to go to my Dr who confirmed food poisoning and infectious colitis . I was vomiting , diarrhea and had bloody stool . I am on an antibiotic for a few days to fight the aweful bacterial infection in my body ! I will never eat here again !
I tried this place on a wim one day and now it is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is always delicious and customer service is always great! Hibachi chicken and veggies is my go to, add some white sauce and a ginger salad...never disappoints.
This is one of me and my wife’s favorite japanese places in Garner. The food is outstanding and the white sauce is to die for! This is a perfect place to go when you’re shopping at white oak. I recommend calling 10 minutes before and your food will be right and ready for you.
I love going to New Japan Express for lunch! I get the chicken soba and spring rolls and they’re always delicious. It’s super fresh too: when I order I see them get the ingredients and start cooking it to order. Highly recommend this place!
Some of the most consistently good food in the area. We go there about once a week and always enjoy our meals.
This place use to be one of our favorite places to eat in this area because their portions complemented the pricing; however, things have totally changed. Now, you are paying more for less and the quality of the food has decreased. Spend your money elsewhere because they have a no refund policy. Why pay for something that you may not be in agreement to eat once it is done? My suggestion would be provide people with samples before they purchase anything from your menu if they request sampling. New Japan Express, step it up! I am aware that the owners have other locations that provide quality food that compliments pricing. Maybe your employees should visit those locations to see how it should be done. Overall, I don't recommend eating at this place. You can do better until they do better. Smh!!
Wow, it was delicious. Got the chicken hibachi, no rice with extra vegetables. I can't say thing negative. Vegetables are perfectly cooked. Will go Again.
Disappointed ☹️ Ordered Steak and scallop soba & fried dumplings. The dumplings were good but came with no sauce to dip them in & the soba noodles weren’t good at all. It looked like top ramen packet noodles & it came with very little meat. Paid $18 for it and it was worth maybe $8.
Poor customer service. Went in about 10 min before closing and was told I was too late to order but to go orders were stacked on the counter. I understand people wanting to home at the end of the night but if your restaurant closes at 9 you should take orders til 9. Restaurants should not start cleaning until closing time and door is locked!
The food was decent, but the wait was very long. We called ahead around 15 minutes early, and we still had to wait around 25 extra minutes when we got there.
