Atmosphere of the restaurant is fun and very clean.The serving staff is very friendly. The fish tacos were decent, but not what they described on the menu. This is the third time I've eaten at this restaurant and each time I've gotten something different. Not once has the item matched what is described on the menu. This is very disappointing when you are expecting certain things to contribute to the flavor of your meal.

My husband and I went there for dinner last night. We both ordered the fish tacos. It was supposed to come with cabbage, pineapple and mayo, plus the rice and beans. The fish was cut in small pieces to make it look like there was more. The taco was soggy. The red cabbage was on the side in a bowl . They forgot the pineapple, plus the rice and beans. We asked for hot sauce and it finally came at the end of the meal. Will not go back.
This is a bueno Mexican restaurant! All the employees are very nice and on a usual day the service is always noticably fast. They have margarita specials on a regular basis and live music. The menu is very large and there is something for everyone. You really can't go wrong here, I've never had a bad experience.
We come here almost every other weekend. We absolutely LOVE IT. Everything about it; staff, food, quickness it takes for the food to come out. For the heck of it, I timed how quickly our food took to come out. I started the timer as soon as the waiter walked away from the table… Food was on the table for me and my wife in 1 minute 56 seconds. THANK YOU GUYS!!
One of my favorite takeout Mexican restaurants. Service is always really fast when picking up, and most importantly, the food is always consistent.
Me and my husband have been eating here for years and I've never had a problem. I usually pick the place to eat out but if were within 10 miles he wants to eat there, it's not a debate. There are A LOT of restaurants even just Within half a mile of this place too. He orders the quesadilla La Cocina which is probably one of their signature dishes and never disappoints!As always... It's ridiculously fast and insanely delicious. Especially if, on the off chance, it's not packed full of hundreds of people. Don't worry though there is plenty of space. This is in my opinion, the best Mexican Restaurant in Johnston/Wake County and the surrounding areas... Possibly even the best one in the state. Just go!
So my self and my family which were my other half and 2 kids went out for my other half’s birthday thinking we were going to get good food and good customer service. First we were lied too on the pricing of our food , we ate had a good time before the waitress to came back just for her to knock over a drink that was basically full and we were charged for a full drink that was not paid for (mind you $26) then over priced for 9 taco’s that came to a total of $90. There was no way in hell 9 tacos came to that amount. Would never get my family or my service again. You can’t treat good people and think nothing will happen. Good luck!
Great food, wonderful staff, all very accommodating and quick service. Every time we go, they are always busy but smile at every turn. Not overly decorated, great atmosphere either for a date, family night, or hanging out with friends. Live music on Thursday and Sunday too, fun place. ??

Has gone very far downhill, It used to be wonderful, hot and fresh, and plenty on the portion side. I used to eat there 3-4 times per week, EVERY week for over a year. I LOVED LA cocina, However for the past 6 months the portion sizes have dwindled and gotten smaller and smaller, started noticing the meats were reheated due to the speed of preparation and it being Luke warm and tough as nails. There is no possible way you can cook to order an order of fajitas in under 3 minutes. My food was ordered, plated, and handed to me in under 3 minutes. Takes longer than that to even cook the veggies. And if you've ever reheated chicken, I'm sure you've noticed the dried out funky taste when it's in the microwave too long. Well this tastes exactly like that and tougher than my work boots, couldn't even chew it. I could understand if it happened just once or twice, you know we're all human and mistakes happen, but it's been this way for the past 6 months. And When I tried to return it they said they don't give refunds. Shame, I've been a long time happy customer here but I can now say I will NEVER return.Picture is for the portion size, not even half a pan of food. Inedible food at that.
