I have been waiting to try this place for a long time. I had a order made for Mother’s Day for 12 pm pick up. My order wasn’t done until 12:45 (I didn’t really care too much about this, knowing the food was going to be good). I got a days old pan of fried chicken. I don’t ever make reviews but when told that “I just hired a new cook and it’s a Hit or Miss sometimes wherever you go”. This was the statement made from the owner. I brought the pan of chicken back and only got 6 pieces replaced. No one had sympathy or a care in the world. I am very disappointed in the “Black Owned Business”. I was not rude I didn’t raise my voice and was very mellow toned. I just hope that they can use this as a wake up call to do better.
This place has good food when you are able to get it without them running out ? chopped Turkey is hard to get a long with several other foods. You don't know that they don't have what you want to order until they have already taken your money then they tell you they don't have anymore or that they ran out. I was surprised as I was there before 12 noon ??♀️ anyway I placed an order online paid for it and when my husband went to pick it up guess what??♀️ ran out again... If they are able to have what you want I'm sure you will enjoy the food. At this point for me I will go where I know they have what is on their menu. Beef ribs, chopped Turkey, lemon cake, some chicken they may not have or you have to get there when they open I guess ??♀️ Can't remember what it is that my hubby always wants and they never have it but I guess it doesn't matter since they never have it ?
Had past this place several times since moving to the area and always wanted to try it. Was not told that certain fish cost more until I received the food. The fish and shrimp taste pretty good. Was not a big fan of the coleslaw or the Mac and cheese. If I go again will try something different. Didn't think the plate was worth the money.
Worst meal ever ?. Seriously. Look at the pics and you can tell it was terrible. I should have known better. Two separate people both told me the food was bad so it was technically my fault for even trying it. Hopefully this place closes like the other ones before it in that same location. The meal was so bad it almost seemed like a prank ?. Never again.
This place is a good spot for Southern style Soul Food. The chopped turkey Bar-B-Q is good tasting. They also serve pork Bar-B-Q items. The dining area is not fancy but it is clean. Give this place a try. It may surprise you!
The food was okay. The chicken was way overcook but still wasn't bad. The pork bbq wasn't good at all.Fish sandwich was okay. Fried okra was too greasand the coleslaw tasted sour bought.Venue is very nice.Went during off hours. Will definitely give them another chance and update the review.
I got fried ribs with Mac and cheese and collards greens my husband had turkey wing with rice fried okra and lima beans ..we both had the strawberry lemonade which was delicious and a slice of honey bun cake which by the way was big enough for the both of us .... we will be returning

I ordered the Fried Chicken and Potato Salad for a picnic, and it was the BEST chicken I’ve had. The coating was crispy and well seasoned. The salad was flavorful. I ordered ahead and it was ready on time. The staff was friendly and courteous. The shop was very clean with a large seating area. Can’t wait to go back!
I ordered Turkey wings mashed potatoes and collard. First they gave me 1 turkey wing (flat) the potatoes were instant and the collards can out of a can. I guess to make the turkey look good the laid it on some instant rice. I waited 20-30 minutes for can food. This place makes you believe that the food is good but not everyone can cook.
