I was here when they opened this morning. One of the first people through the door when they opened it. We all were greeted promptly and with a smile and invited in. We were then seated and our servers took our drink orders right away.I drank ice tea, and I ordered a country fried steak, scrambled eggs and hash brown casserole. The country fried steak had a good flavor, you could taste the beef, and the outside was crispy. The gravy was very thick with a mild taste. The eggs were cooked well and the casserole was the perfect compliment to this meal.My server (Jamie) was friendly and helpful. She made this visit very enjoyable.After eating I wandered their store a bit and saw they had Lodge cast iron cookware (with the Cracker Barrel logo on the bottom) which I like. I ended up buying a 5" square skillet.This was a great start to my day.

How do they make the food taste so good? Seriously, the fried chicken and chicken & dumplings is the best I've ever had. I have never been disappointed with the food and the superior staff at any Cracker Barrel. Also, try the fried apples. They are amazing!

Turkey Dinner is getting SO SMALL you can hardly find the turkey!!!! The sweet potato casserole is good but there isn’t much on the plate!!!! One slice of turkey when there used to be two or three slices. The dressing is getting smaller too!!! About one tablespoon of sweet potato casserole and when a request was put in for the remaining portion I was met with no answer. Then when asked again the No star wait staff replied there will be a full charge for any additional casserole. WTF!!!!!
We come here all the time and every time it’s a great experience! Our sever was super friendly and attentive. The food came out hot and correct. We love the apple butter and highly recommend it on the biscuits. We also love browsing the store they have very cool nic nac items. The prices in the store can be a little high.
15 min wait to be seated turned into 30 no big deal however after being seated an additional 45 min before our food arrived. Still would not have been upset but at least 4 tables surrounding us seated after all received and were enjoying their meals long before us. Waitress was nice and apologetic but had to box it up and take it home food was cold when we got home had to heat it up in the microwave was very good as usual. Never write a bad review however management came to the table did not seem to care that we had had a poor experience. Not looking for any kind of hand out money not important but principal is. Issue here may be with management. This was my 2nd bad experience not what I would expect of Cracker Barrel.
This place is close to the apartment me and my mom live in. I reapplied but decided to back out because I had another job offer that at first was giving me great hours and I won’t quite mentally ready to go back but now I am down to 1 or 2 days a week and that’s not working for me so I reapplied again because I decided that I am finally mentally ready to go back. And I haven’t heard nothing at all. Really hoping to hear back from Cracker Barrel soon.
Went there with my girlfriend for lunch today. Took 50 minutes to be seated(understandable because of Sunday lunch) and then over an hour longer after sitting down until we got our food. When we got our food, it was mostly all cold. Would have left before getting food but drove 45 minutes just to eat here. Manager was not very helpful in resolving the issue.
Last year my wife and I had a negative experience at a Cracker Barrel out of our area. The powers that be at your main office was gracious enough to accept our complaint and sent me a coupon for a free dessert! Well Covid happened and I was sick for a while and several months went by before we could use the coupon at our local CB in Garner, NC. Upon presenting the coupon at checkout it was discovered that it had expired the month before we used it! The manager at the time Ryan was so nice, he went ahead and honored the coupon we are so grateful for good people like him. By the way the food was also excellent! We love Cracker Barrel!
