This place has really gone downhill since COVID started. Sometimes the lines are quick. Sometimes the lines take you 30 minutes to get through. Also, if you ask for extra sauce on a quesadilla you get no sauce insteadEdit: every time I come here their prices have gone up. They are now twice as expensive as they were a year ago. There's no point in coming here anymore because it's not cheap food. If you want to pay this much you might as well go to a real burger restaurant.
I really like cookout and my family enjoys it as a treat. However they're getting to the point where to order cheese bites it's just not worth it. It's our favorite menu item. This location has always skimped on them but it's getting to the point that is ridiculous. I actually called corporate and asked them and they told me the minimum amount of cheese bites in an order would be 8. Double order is 12. Usually I get six for a single order and nine for a double at this location. Tonight I got four very small cheese bites and two of them the cheese have leaked out.
I ordered 7 cookout trays and i got 1 cookout shake, 1 cheer wine and 5 sprites. My sprite was not sweet . It tasted like plain water. Another customer had came up to the window before me and complained about his sprite also tasting plain and the employee was able to change his drink but they couldn’t give me my drinks correct??? Aside from that , they also charged me for large drinks. When i brought this up to the employee, i was told that’s just how it is? I’ve been to cookout plenty of times and i’ve never received large drinks before & I’ve never been charged for a drink??? . I also ordered the cheerwine without ice and they completely packed all the drinks with ice. There was barely any soda . Never coming back to this location.
this cookout will NEVER get your order out, no matter how politely you ask them to repeat it. i honestly am left to wonder if it’s a game to them, knowing your leaving and won’t notice till home. Receipt shows my order, order was repeated, but again another wrong order.
I love the Cook-Out hamburger with chili sauce and onions and their french fries and a milkshake! So good! And they are pretty quick in the Drive-Thru too!
The general Maneger was rude I asked for light ice on my drink got it packed with it ice! I had ordered fries with extra Cajun didn’t get it when I asked for a quesadilla sauce I was asked to pay $1.67 which I have never had to pay for a cup of sauce for my quesadilla..
Every time I have gone here, the wait at the drive-thru seemed abnormally long, so I was bored and tested it. I went 4 times at different times of the day, on different days of the week, and averaged out my wait time. It came out to 22 minutes. Yikes.I leave 3 stars because they at least get the order right the majority of the time.
I ordered a Big Double Burger at the hwy 42 location one night this week. Absolutely nothing about this is "Big". I went to the window and asked if this is what they called a big double burger. The kid at the window was like "yeah", and shrugged me off as if it wasn't his problem. Basically I asked to see the manager....another kid....who explained that yes this was a big double burger. I was shocked that no one saw how small the patties were and that basically if I moved the patties over I would be eating just bun for nearly half of the burger. I said I could get the cheapest burger at McDonald's and at least it would fill the bun. She shrugged that off and was like they do shrink when we grill them (which that is another story....they burned all of our burgers to the point of a very bitter after taste).So what I learned is that they recommend you get the "regular burger" because that actually fills the bun. She had one made for me to compensate. But really, when looking at the menu one would imagine a BIG DOUBLE burger is going to be more substantial than the REGULAR burger. Not true folks anymore. And no one want to pay nearly $7 for a burger meal where the patties are bitter charred and tiny when you can get a Whopper meal or a Deluxe sandwich meal at Mcd's for the same price or less.I'm so tired of the quality of take out recently. No one cares about giving customers good service, good value, or good food.
Decent food and reasonably priced. But always slow service and awful systems.Order is rarely correct in drive thru
Everyone knows my reviews are fair and to the point.with over 2 million views on my photos and comments my views are accurate. This cookout should fire Everyone in the nightshift. Fire the managers that hired these people and fire the District managers, who oversees the managers. I waited with my family 45 minutes in a double line as I sat there it was obviously clear one line would let 4 or 5 cars go before advancing the second line. When I finally got to the call box another 3 or 4 cars again moved in the first line. Without no one answering the call box. Finally It was my turn, as asked why the second line had to wait so long and was told the first line was a primary line and the second line was taken order s after a certain amount of cars went through the first line. I was appalled. Got my food which was cold, sogy French fries. The other three meals were the same. I would not recommend this location to anyone. The staff, and the management needs to be retrained or fired. Stop using covid for an excuse to hire substandard people.
