Highly disappointed in my Mac and cheese order today. It was dry and over cooked, definitely not like they normally make it. Of course I didn't notice it until I got home ?. Very sad as they are normally the best in town.
City BBQ has great meats! The brisket and baked chicken are always a hit.The mac and cheese, creamed corn, and banana pudding also taste wonderful. Mikey and Cassie ALWAYS have the greatest service. I cater their food for my poker game once a month. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Had catering for my daughter's graduation party yesterday. We did pickup and food was hot, packed neatly and ready to go when we arrived at the restaurant. It was a big hit with all the guests. We had brisket and smoked turkey with Mac and cheese/green beans for sides. We will definitely be using City BBQ again for our catering needs. A+++ for service, quality, and TASTE!!
I don't get back to Garner, NC often but when I do, I must stop by. Their judge's sampler is perfect for my family of 6. Pork bbq, brisket, chicken, cornbread, two sides.... and the flavor is amazing. If you like true smoked meat, you gotta try this place. It's a true gem!
My first ever trip! Was truly wonderful! Had the pulled pork sammich with fries and the best peach cobbler on the planet. Nice, clean restrooms. 5 star- would def recommend!!
Disappointed with service cashier was very unprofessional? Food portion was small comparing to price i order brisket combo okra for side and corn pudding with drink? Very dry okra was soggy? Be awhile before i revisit?
Just came from City Barbecue. Food was good, but pulled pork had veins in it. Next time I'll order brisket or turkey. Rate 4 out of 5 stars. Need better selection of desserts.
Nice place for barbecue. Excellent barbecue sauce I recommend beef brisket and pulled chicken. For starters. Your sides are excellent we have an excellent barbecue sauce with your spicy if you like that. Or you can pick something that's mild.
Garner location is the best City Barbecue store in the Raleigh Durham area. Something is just better there!! The pulled chicken and baked beans with brisket are my two favorites. The beef brisket is decent, too! They are also friendly!! I go each time I'm in the area.
