Honestly, I would like to rate them higher but the seating situation needs work. The chairs are kind-of small. People who are heavier have a hard time sitting in these chairs or can't at all. I saw one man who could only sit on the very edge of the booth and all the while the table was jabbing him in the gut, and another poor guy have to eat standing up.I know some may read this and think, well, lots of not great things and probably blame the people dining in. I'd argue though, that they may want to be a little more inclusive. Add a few table with regular chairs or maybe not bolt the tables to the booths to the floor.The food was not that bad though. The service was friendly and the restaurant was as clean as you would expect it.
Got order wrong two times, the first time we asked for 2 hot dogs one light ketchup and one plain and when I got it it had ketchup and mustard on both, the 2nd time it was extra ketchup instead of light ketchup the plain hotdog the wrapper was wet and greasy. The fries were hard and overcooked ice cream machine down hold at speaker for 10 minutes and only one car at the window beside me
Y'all are normally good I understand it was close to closing time but you are still at work didn't put my fries in the bag chicken nuggets are hard as a brick new cook ???? a waist of $20.92 crazy I was the only customer for 10 minutes then someone else showed up after I need my money back
One word..dissatisfied. Orders were wrong, hot dogs and hamburger was undercooked, and they forgot the toy from the kids meal…not only that the lady at the counter was EXTREMELY RUDE!! It was as if we were bothering her when placing an order.
The lady that runs this place Connie is very organized and runs the place very well. I love the hamburgers here and my kids love the nuggets here. Very friendly staff. Keep up the awesome job Wiener Works.
I was getting their Wednesday special. The person in front of me in the drive thru sat at the window for 14 minutes to get all their food. I was watching the time because I had a doctor's appointment down by Cape Fear and was afraid I was going to miss it. By the time it was my turn my hotdog was luke warm and the bun was really mushy from being in a bag for so long. I would have really appreciated if they employees had asked the person ahead of me to pull into a space while the rest of their food was prepared and then waited on everyone else in line. I hate to say it, but such a disregard for customers and basic efficiency that all other drive thrus have figured out make me not want to go back.
Food and service is terrible went thru drive thru got down the road looked in bag the sandwich was sitting in unwrapped paper as if thrown in the bag and it wasn't what I ordered went back inside got my money back the employees just don't look the part of fixing my food
Only 4 stars. I love the fry delight, when I request and pay for extra chili and sour cream, I feel a bit cheated. So when you ask for extras make sure you check before leaving the drive thru. I go there on my lunch break and I don't have the time to go back and have it corrected while the rest of my meal goes cold.
1st Time stopping in at Wiener Works and I must say I was a little disappointed. I enjoyed the all beef hot dog, but the menu is built for 1st graders, or rocket scientist. It was simple but confusing all at the same time. I was expecting a place that served many types of hotdogs with a variety of fixings. That's where the disappointment came in. I was confused from the time I walked in and all the way back to my car. Wondering what my order might hold. Good luck to anyone on your first try.
Long line in the drive through when I got there. They moved pretty quickly and got everyone through. The food smells amazing. Got a chicken sandwich and a footlong chili cheese dog. The food was great.
