Updated ** went tonight to order Togo. Food was quick but no need for employees to have personal conversations loud enough the whole restaurant hears. And they were so scattered they let someone walk out forgetting about 3 items in a bag and I walked out and realized half way home I was missing grits I ordered. Cook was doing good and I have no complaints about him. He actually told the others to stop rushing and take a minute. But the 3 or 4 others need to take a second and not rush and maybe if they stopped the extra chit chatting they wouldn’t mess up orders .Old review **Awesome service tonight ! Great place to eat! My first experience visiting the Waffle House, was back in maybe 1987 or 1988, in Newport News, Va. with my oldest. Anyway, I fell deep for their waffles, they were si thick and huge. So many years later, here in N.C. the food is still great, but their waffles, have lost its touch. They may as well have, just used a regular iron, that's how flat they are, even the taste is not the same. Something is seriously missing from the waffles.

How in the hell do you charge 15$ for four waffles... I coulda bought the syrup batter and a waffle maker for that price. Geez .. for the price of the four waffles I could have gotten two allstars and got two waffles with it... Ridiculous.

Poor service. Waitress knew we were drinking coffee and failed to make anymore. We ask for more coffee and she brings an empty pot to our table and tries pouring knowing it was empty. She says oh I have to make more. Right then we decided to stop eatting and just leave. Poor service. We were the only customers in there.
My favorite Waffle House to go to! The whole staff is super friendly and who doesn’t love Waffle House?! The food is fast and good
