Food was delicious, nice atmosphere, will return! We went for brunch and I am excited to return. The salmon bites were perfectly crispy and moist, I enjoyed the shrimp/grits, although they came in a gravy that was missing that Nola zing that I’m used to. The waffles were perfect—light, fluffy, and they came with butter options (I believe we chose bourbon butter). Alcohol service starts at noon on Sunday, I believe, so we weren’t able to try cocktails. No worries, we’ll be back.
The vibe was great from the music to the decor. All of the food & drinks were amazing! I had the sweet potato waffle with bourbon butter & crispy fried wings & delicious salmon bites!

Spacious restaurant with a bar and stage for live entertainment. There was a wait when we arrived but it was short. Waited a short while to served after we were seated. We ordered the salmon bites appetizer but it came out after our main cross. The food was very hot and good. The only reason for the 4-star rating because of the waiting.
Had reservations today for a party of 16 that turned into a party of 21. No wait! Waitress Karen was awesome!! She was patient with multiple uncertain orders..she kept our glasses full and attended to everyone's needs. Party ordered a variety of food from spinach dip, wings, fried tomatoes, breakfast special, salads, chicken and waffles and EVERYTHING was delicious! I didn't hear not one complaint and coming from my fam, that's a miracle! Icing on the cake was a birthday song for my son from Kristine I think her name was! She wowed us!! I appreciate the splendid quality of service and delicious food...I've frequented this restaurant for years but had to add a review for today. Thank you Uptown’s for making a sons birthday brunch wonderful.
If you love music and great food, this is it. Never have I went to a restaurant back to back. Great staff very friendly.
This is by far my favorite black-owned restaurant here in fayetteville!!! I’ve never had a bad experience, and the prices aren’t way too high. I come here at least once a month lol.
Food was great but the wait was ridiculous. You need at least 3 hours free. Hour wait and hour for you food. My waitress was really bad. She was sitting down eating and outside in the parking lot while we waited and waited.
Short wait time for seating. Short wait time between appetizers and main course. Wonderful service. Great atmosphere. Professionalism and courteous manner from staff. I could go on and on, but I gotta dig in these fish n grits.
Overall, my parents and I enjoyed the food. The service could use improvement. We had a hard time locating our waitress a few times. I was going to tip but the waitress grew impatient while I was trying to remove my card from my wallet and walked off. To top it off her last remark was "I hope you have the day you deserve." I deserved better service than that to be honest but like I said before the food was amazing. We still had a good time regardless.
