I had a long day at work so I pick up smoothies otw home.....get home and have to hear the kids fight about who’s getting the PB Cup smoothie with the lesser amount!!! Come on!!! Aren’t they all supposed to be the same size? I paid $25 for smoothies....they should all be full when I pick them up!! Won’t be coming back to this location!!! Thanks!
normally have nothing but great things to say about this establishment in particular, but this morning was just horrible and has made me never want to order from here again. I placed an online order to pick up before my mom and I headed to work, and we got there a bit early. Our smoothies were already made, so we just had to wait for my sandwich which was perfectly fine since we were a few minutes early. A few moments later as Im sitting down waiting for my sandwich, we see a whole cockroach crawl along the counter to the otherside of the counter... Disgusting and made me concerned to even continue to drink my smoothie and eat my sandwich. Then a few moments later an employee had to ask me what I ordered again and the staff kept looking as us weird because I was still waiting on the rest of my order, and they forgot about it. Completely unprofessional and unsanitary, and the staffs attitude ruined the whole experience. Not to mention there was a spill behind the counter and they all just let it sit there for a while instead of cleaning it up. I feel very disgusted by this establishment and will be going to another location from now on.
Whether they're busy, not busy, whatever, they get my smoothie order wrong about 60% of the time. I don't know what I'm supposed to think about that. I have putting off writing this review because I don't like writing bad reviews. Thankfully the smoothies are all pretty delicious so it kind of doesn't matter. But the carelessness needs to be addressed. The staff always seem lazy and distracted.
This location used to be phenomenal however it has declined quickly. I went in the other night and ordered a smoothie and quesadilla. Not only were there small roaches crawling on the counters but yes there was a roach in my quesadilla. I highly recommend a change in staff and the health department come into this location.
Clear instructions, right, two different types of smoothies im trying to order with this half baked Lady here, I say half baked because I dont know how else you could possibly mess up an order? She puts the two different orders into one smoothie and after confronting her she gets irritated and goes on to complicate the process to even out the mistake and calls the Manager which is also on the same level as her, rude and unprofessional. Gas lighting the costumer into making them think that they made a mistake is not a good idea, especially when your behavior in such situations shows why there was a mistake done in the first place. I wont ever go back to this place or any tropical cafe again. I dont support such behavior sorry, not sorry.
Love tropical smoothie! So many ways to make a healthy smoothie. Peanut paradise with pea protein and stevia is awesome!! I will say this specific tropical smoothie, customer service is lacking, behind the counter people were standing around talking, looking confused and not at all in a rush with the amount of people inside the establishment.
Smoothies are delicious but very inconsistent lately. My last 3 were not drinkable. Not smooth at all. It was like drinking spinach & kale mush. Then went the next day to get a replacement & they said "I'm sorry the manager didnt put your name on the list. We can't replace your order" They used to be so amazing. Customer service & drinks were awesome. They'd give you the leftovers from the blender which you usually have when you customize. They say they're not allowed anymore. I paid to add more fruit, I should get the extra! After all they just throw it away!! Very Disappointed the last few months.
Had a pickup order from this place, went inside and the guy making the drink was not wearing his mask properly and continuously touching his pants and shirt.. I informed the manager on duty Ashlyn about the nc health standards and asked for her to wait to mention to the employee until i leave from the restaurant to say anything and she rudely told the employee immediately what I said and bantering shrugged it off and said she didn't hear me... I will not be going back here..
I just went in to pick up my smoothie that I ordered online and the whole store was just dirty and gross. The employees had their stuff all over the tables like they lived there. I’ve never seen it so dirty.
I wish I could give this location 0 stars. My son ordered a smoothie using their app. The smoothie was not made according to what my son ordered. My son called about the issue and they basically told him he would have to order and pay for another smoothie. He was told that he physically removed items from the smoothie to make add ons. He’s telling them that he did not remove anything and was basically told no, he did and would still have to purchase another smoothie. I’m so over a lot of these fast food spots with poor customer service skills.
