The sides were great, but the chicken is under-cooked. The brisket is fatty on the bottom edge. The young man with the braids left the young lady to prepare the food. “You need to learn..” is what he said to her, before he took off. As a business, you can do better…and treat your workers better. Your business will not survive unless your pit-boss cooks the food himself…. 5/15/2022.

Trying local restaurants in Fayetteville and this food is better than expected. The rib plate was as advertised, good portions and the meat fell off the bone, collard greens and Mac and cheese were just as good. I kept it simple since this was my first time there. Not disappointed at all and sure to return.Would have given 5 stars, but staffing was short.

Hello, today was my 2nd time ordering from this establishment. I was not exactly pleased with my first time ordering earlier this week. I spoke with Chef Mike and explained what happened with my meal. To my surprise he re made the order free of charge and I was so pleased with his professionalism and the food was excellent. I actually ordered 2 more dinners from the menu.Great customer service. I will return. Satisfied customer!!
The meals, sides, and desserts are so delicious. I have never been disappointed. I highly recommend to any and everybody. The macaroni and cheese, beef brisket (especially the sauce), collard greens are so delicious. I've already recommended my family and friends, they've enjoyed their experience as well. Hats off to the Chef and his remarkable staff!!!!!
The cook Chef Myke had a nasty attitude. I placed my order decided we wanted an additional order he’s yelling from the back you should have placed your order together. Yelled it 3 times before the nice young lady taking order smiled and said sorryWe spent almost a $100.00 and mind you we are Senior citizens and saved to talk to us like that was uncalled for.We won’t be back or any of our family members there’s to many restaurants out there who want your business.The barbecue sauce is just poured on the ribs. Pork & Beans has to much sauce in it for me.We didn’t like the food or service except for the young lady working up front

I like to eat or try a new food experience at least twice before reviewing it. But it is hard to enjoy a new food experience when the food you ordered is never delivered. And that was the case with Sweet Smokee'z BBQ n SoulFood.First issue was with the menu listings. I ordered the rib plate which comes with one third rack (maybe this is a misprint and should be one half) of ribs and two sides. And for an additional 50% cost you can get a FULL rack of ribs. I chose the FULL rack buy which should have been the other two thirds of the one third rack. I got two pieces of a rack which were the same size. So either I got two thirds of a rack and not the FULL rack I ordered or there is a misprint.Second issue was that my Nachos with a twist never made it to me despite the fact the delivery driver (GrubHub) called on behalf of the restaurant to ask me what type of meat I wanted on my Nachos. And the nachos was the main item I wanted to try.Now the food. Nachos: never got so ... Ribs: never ate them still in fridge. I did pry a bone off to check for tenderness and taste smoked to the dry side and as you can see the BBQ sauce was poured over the ribs and never basted. Mac and cheese was nothing special if not I have had better. Baked beans were cooked with ground beef and sweet also standard but did taste good.So, yes I know my experience could have been better. I know Sweet Smokee'z BBQ will write a mild reply apologizing and inviting me to give them the chance to do better. But there hundreds of other restaurants including numerous BBQ joints vying for my money. But the GrubHub driver also played a role in this fiasco. GrubHub should doubled checked the order before leaving the restaurant. With contactless delivery by the time I checked the order the driver was gone and the restaurant closed.Between the food and delivery, I spent $60. That's three hours of work to hope to enjoy a 20 minute meal on your birthdaySweet Smokee'z BBQ my birthday experience was Terrible. Oh, well maybe next time if there were to be one.
