Went here for lunch on a Friday. Wait time to order was not bad and prices were good for the food options. We got our food in a timely manner. Quality of food was not bad, flavors could be better of the meats. Overall though, the meat and side selections were good and restaurant atmosphere was appropriate for style of food.
The smoked food is delicious, great taste, very tender and reasonable prices. I had the smoked BBQ, smoked leg quarter with fried okras and collards as my side. It was very good. I would definitely revisit this place.
It was our first time there and although we try to support local businesses, I don't see another trip in the near future. We both got a combo with pulled pork and chicken quarters but both were very dry. The pork so much that I had to douse it BBQ sauce as it was partly " crunchy." The sides of mac and cheese and baked beans were just OK as well. Smoked mac and cheese would be nice ( I do that and my beans in my smoker) and the beans tasted like Bush's. It w the d right at dinner time so not an off time or late getting remnants. We really miss Fatbacks as he had the best Q. Sorry guys just being honest. We go for BBQ all the place when out of town so have had some really good stuff to compare to.

This place is awesome. If you're craving some southern comfort food this would definitely be the place to go. I've had multiple different things from the menu but the pulled pork, corn bread, and brunswick stew are some of my favorites. The staff is always super nice and sometimes they even have leftover crossiants to purchase from Burneys Sweets & More next door. They are both owned by the same people and it's obvious that they care about the quality of their food and service at their establishments.
I had southern coals cater my wedding and they have the BEST bbq and sides there are to offer! Everything so delicious. My guests were in love with southern coals!!
