Went for lunch. I ordered a dark meat combo plate. The ordering process was easy and I was greeted with a smile. The combo plate was filling and one of the workers even took our empty plates to the trash. I would recommend this place for a good filling lunch.
The lady at the window rude. I won't say the food was good or bad. Don't know. I asked what was on the sandwich when ordered, the reply barbecue..... ? Cool. Opened up the sandwich where there is coleslaw that was so wet the bread was soaked through all wet at STUCK to the meat. So I have no idea what the sandwich tasted like because it went into the trash as I gagged at the site.I don't understand why it is so hard for workers to take orders seriously. With my allergies I always ask what's included on the sandwich. I can say JUST MEAT & BREAD all day. I get well it comes with sauce or cheese or whatever. Okay. Leave that off give me meat and bread. The person taking the order doesn't make the order so why is this so hard.
07/10/22 - My son-in-law took us here and he has been here, and we were never here. We enjoyed the meal, the chicken was great, Hush Puppies were good, with butter. The staff were great, they came to the table and asked how was our food, and also was surprised that she took our plates and boxes, what good service. For me the place was kept clean, and I liked the decor, also, the men's room was clean too. Over all I liked this place. Thank you for a great experience.
Good meal and a sizeable amount of food. I haven't ate there in a while, but I will pay them another visit. They also have very good prices. Great Job SCNB.
Gives bbq a bad name. Only "bbq" option is pulled pork, the banana pudding is clearly not house made and from a large can, just put into individual little cups. The only saving grace is that the sweet tea is decent. Would rather go to mission bbq, and that's saying a lot as even they are mid, but at least they have brisket.
The gentleman that attended my family was a delight. My first time having fried chicken that actually was worth buying. You can't and I repeat, you cannot compare it to KFC or any other fried chicken restaurant. I personally didn't like the packaged BBQ sauce but the BBQ sauce they had on the table was better. Coleslaw is where it's at and I'm not typically one to eat Coleslaw. This Coleslaw was full and prepared well. Tasty but not too overpowering! We'll definitely be back! Bad Customer Service... Was rushed in Drive Thru and then Tea was spilled in my car..I work Customer service and I understand things happen but this is ridiculous!!! When I tried calling store number don't work..had to drive all the way back to get GM number...then when I come back it's a manager who was running the drive thru!!! Crazy!!! I WONT BE COMING BACK!!! I will go to the one in Dunn, NC..#Learned My Lesson!!!
Going to be honest as the vinegar in the BBQ and the small portions except hush puppies were a large portion was not what I expected. Personally, I thought the food was overrated as I tasted better.The owner did reach out regarding the review which is appreciated but I guess the vinegar is an "Acquired" taste which only a few in the area are familiar with. Usually don’t have a problem with this store. First time at the Fayetteville location…bald head guy comes to give us our food, I start to take the tray and he snaps at me and pulls it away saying he takes the tray with him. Rude. Then while we eat one of the ladies behind the counter just stares at us. Creepy. Won’t come back here again!
They messed up my order and after taking it back I watched them for the old food back into the new food I want a nybody to order with them to use caution because these people are definitely not healthy wise don't order from here the manager was someone who poured the old food back in the mist of COVID all we wanted was a three piece wing and a two piece drum the cook officer proceed to call us a liar after we proceeded to take two thighs back after we ordered two legs where where we have got two thighs from as if we would have lied about it he had a really nasty attitude very disrespectful after this was their mistake after we had to wait in our line all over again because they refused to open the door
