I'll give sandpiper a good rating this time I think they got it right this timeCustomer service is good they were very understanding and helpful when we took our food back because they had given me the wrong plate and were helpful when I had to ask for a suggestion on what kind of chicken to get for the plate I ordered they suggested baked chicken so I ordered that with yams and fried okra all of wich turned out great I dont eat fried chicken often and cant really enjoy it because of the crease but I like the baked chicken I've not mentioned the lots of crease because it's an issue at sandpiper I've never had there's the crease problem is with other restaurants but I stay away from fried chicken because of that experience...food and service were goodDecent prices to and its plenty of food for one plate I ordered 2 plates when I was there one for me and one for my mom I think I paid around 14.00 bucks ..I say that's a good price because I compared that to when I had gone to wendy's the night before and they wanted 15 bucks for 2 burgers and 2 frosty that's insaneAnyway on top of good food they have some good tea as well didn't even ask for it it comes with the plate I think the only plates the tea doesn't come with are fish plates although I'd ask when I ordered to be on the safe side ...long waits on Friday dinner rush though so call ahead I went thru drive thru normally and it was fine but then again caution is important. If you want your food fast call if you dont mind a five minute wait depending on the line then go as normal best of luck
it will have one of the best down home cooking buffet you can ever eat the food is clean good tasty the hospitality is good the people is so down to earth very clean restaurant I recommend you come there enjoy yourself and have a good time I mean the food is out of this world

Introduced to this place by my mother and grandmother. I'm so glad they did! I haven't had anything that I didn't like. My wife fell in love with the fried chicken! We had that chicken 3 days one week ?.
People were nice. Only specific sides with certain orders. Food was a little bland I guess it's for an older crowd due to health conditions. Food made pretty quick but for the price I'd rather dine in for the actual buffet.
My Husband and I went through the drive through tonight for seafood. We ordered the whiting plate and the shrimp plate. When we opened the boxes you could tell by the color of the fish & shrimp that it was over cooked. Then when we tasted it, it was very apparent that they had not changed the grease at all. The seafood tasted like dirty oil. We haven't been to Sandpiper in about 5 or 6 years and we wanted to try them tonight for some reason. Lesson learned!!! We will NEVER eat at Sandpiper again. The quality of the food has gone down drastically since we first moved to Fayetteville in 2005. I wish we could have given it a zero stars.
The food was hot. The shrimp is really small. Coleslaw was runny. Fries small but crunchy. Hush puppies are real good and so is the sweet tea. Price is very fair.
Sandpiper was really good tonight. Me and my husband got a small combo plate for 10.99 and it was enough for the both of us
Everything was good except the shrimp. It taste like they where fried to hard.
Delicious, down home cooking at a reasonable price.
