Great place been coming there since my kids were small. We always have to stop for hot chocolate in winter and frozen drinks in summer. Food is amazing and so are the staff. Best place hands down for a quick bite and coffee and relaxing
This place is truly the heart of downtown. The staff and owners are some of the loveliest individuals you will ever encounter. And the coffee...to die for. Actually, Rude has a little bit of everything for everyone. The whimsical atmosphere is one of a kind, and very memorable to anyone who walks in. The courtyard in back has an air of privacy when you want it, and a little bit of romance when you need it.
Go to one of the other coffee shops on this street. The woman working behind the counter was rude. She was kind of short with us when we were ordering, and I figured it was just that she was busy. But she was also absolutely awful to the younger employee working there, who was really sweet to us! It was genuinely uncomfortable to hang out in there. It was a cutely decorated shop though, and the coffee was good but the sandwiches weren’t.
Definitely do(n’t if you value your waistline) come here! The deserts are sooo good, as is their super smooth but robust coffee. Certainly a must try!!
Love the atmosphere here. Great customer service, great coffee, and great treats. after a long week of working I look forward to spending an off day here relaxing and enjoying a cup of mocha
Went to Rude Awakening today for the first time ever. Ordered myself a mocha and was recommended by one of the ladies brown sugar cinnamon and it was absolutely amazing! Staff was super sweet and the inside is very colorful ?
It's so tiny inside but the cheerful colors and warm staff make such it a pleasant experience. There are a couple tables inside and a few more outside if you love the weather. The truffles? The honey sticks? Yes, please! I'll try the espresso next time

Delicious coffe, tea and cakes. I'm seriously impressed. The coffee has great flavor and isn't bitter, the tea is made with real tea leaves, their Tiramisu is to die for (and that's coming from someone who had had Tiramisus all over Europe before.), the spiced cheesecake, YUM! And even the gluten free cupcake I had, was delicious (I didn't even know it was gluten free). The ladies behind the counter are very sweet. One took time to explain the menu to me and the other lady quickly rung us up. We'll be back. Thank you!
